Popular Post cnosil
Exputt - Official MGS Forum Review by cnosil Intro For the last few weeks, I have been spending time most evenings and weekend afternoons; while watching golf, rolling putts on the ExPutt putting simulator. When I get out to the course to play or practice the evaluate the simulation against golf course greens. One of the nice aspects of this product is that it can be utilized in a variety of ways; someone looking to improve their putting can use it as a training aid and others can used it a family activity/game. The multiuse aspect of the product means that while it may be great for one person it could be lacking for another. As part of this review, I’ll try to address the various potential uses and how well I think it meets those needs and help answer whether this is a serious tool for golfers or just a way to pass some time. Let’s see if you can PURRFECT your putting with the ExPutt Simulator Quality of components (9 out of 10 points) My first impressions where that the packaging was good; although I found it odd that there were two product boxes one for the mat and one for the camera and accessories. All the components were well secured withing the package minimizing the possibility for damaged or broken components. The quality of the components is typical for items produced in this day and age. The plastic components are fairly thin but should be durable. The mat is of high quality, had no issues with it lying flat. Ease of use (7 out of 10 points) Setup of the product is easy as there are very few components to assemble. Essentially unroll the mat, connect a power and video cable and power it on. In general, the ExPutt is intuitive but reading the manual is highly recommended as there are some details in the manual that provide some clarifications. Unfortunately, some of the product features are not very well explained in the manual and require some trial and error such as the analysis capability which is included as a subset of the practice mode. Basic Characteristics (28 out of 30 points) Instead of duplicating information I have already provided for each mode of the software I am going to provide links to the review of each aspect of the product. Intro Setup Practice Challenge mode Play 9 For years the struggle I have had with putting practice is how to practice longer putts without the need to go to the golf course. While there are putting mats that are 20+ feet long, I don’t have room in my house to actually lay one out or have a long aisle like @GolfSpy_MPR and Kirke to roll balls to a PuttOut. When I first setup the ExPutt, I did see the same patterns that I saw on the golf course; meaning longer putts were woefully short. Because I wanted to improve my performance and what I was seeing with the product I wanted to practice putting because I knew I would see on course benefits. One average I spend roughly 1-2 hours per day rolling putts. This is more time than my pre-ExPutt practice time simply because there is more variety provided than I could do with gates and yardsticks. As the only golfer in my house the Play 9 mode probably won’t get used beyond this review. If your family has multiple golfers, this mode would be a great activity. I do have an issue with this game mode and the other reviewers seem to agree. Putts that are inside 5 feet seem to require slower ball speed to make the putt than is required on the course. I did find that this impacted my on-course performance as I became cautious on short putts and missed quite a few. I rolled some putts on the practice green and found that the capture speed on a real course was higher than the software allowed. Challenge mode should in theory build upon practice mode by adding the need to read greens. This really doesn’t pan out in reality for me. The software utilizes a contour map to help indicated the slopes on the green. Since I don’t use green books or read greens using inches as a measure to determine if the hole is above or below my current position. I get it, but it just doesn't translate to my on course usage. The left image below is a commercial contour map and the right image is what is presented in the ExPutt simulator. For me, practice mode is where I spend pretty much all of my time. By using this mode, you have the ability to practice distance control and start line. From a training aspect you can do both blocked and random practice and track analyze your performance over time by using the analysis mode. I have even performed ladder drills where you try to fit as many balls as possible between 2 distances (utilizing the previous distance number and setting the distance 50 feet). Note: when doing the ladder drill, you should ignore the post practice metrics. One of the early complaints I had about the system was about lighting and the issues I was having with the software reading the path and face angle for the putter. I have since learned that lighting isn’t about ambient lighting but lighting directly on the mat. Since I now understand the lighting needs, I am seeing better performance and don’t need to use the provided face stickers (or masking tape) for the putter. On-Course Performance (10 out of 15 points) Let’s get to the main thing people want to know. Does using the ExPutt help me on the course. The basic aspects someone should practice associated with putting are: Setup – This would include everything associated with setup to include posture, stance, and ball position. Pace – Can you control the distance the ball rolls Start line – Give a particular pace, you need to roll the ball on your intended line Green Reading – Determining the path the ball will roll along. Practice mode will assist with 2 of the 4 aspects. My hope was that Challenge or Play mode would assist with green reading, but the moving raindrops don’t relate to on course performance and not everyone uses contour maps. Feel vs. Mechanical approaches. I know many people will look at the product and say that they are feel players and with the 2D presentation and the inability to look at the hole they won’t get any benefit. Perhaps I don’t totally understand the “feel” mentality, but to develop a feel approach, you have to do some type of calibration to convert what you see to the appropriate feel. When I am using the product, I am looking at the putt distance and training the feel for how the putter needs to move. Even golfers that rely on feel need to work on stroke length and tempo which results in a distance; if the distance is 25’; reproduce that stroke that rolls the ball 25’. What I am seeing on the course it that my putts are finishing closer to the hole which is what I was the improvement I was hoping to realize from using the product. When I get to the course, I put tees at 5, 10, 20,30,40, and 50 feet and practice rolling the ball to those tees. After using the ExPutt my ability to roll the ball those distance feels very natural and I don’t need to hit multiple putts to recall the feel; basically, distance control is becoming more automatic. I have actually learned a bit by using the product and changed some of my putting routine. As part of my path to improving my game, I am tracking putt distances and walking off the length for each putt. This change had directly mapped to what I have been practicing with the ExPutt. Also reading the discussion within this thread has resulted in my switching from establishing distance control based on ball speed and not putt length. Although most of the greens I play are in the 9/10 stimp range, by using ball speed I can have a chart that will enable me to use the right stroke length for any putt or green (see @gavinski91 review for the chart he put together). One feature I wish the software provided is the ability to slope the green left and right to be able to practice controlled breaking putts. This would ideally use % of slope to reflect how the aimpoint system works. Also, adding back the recommended path would be a nice touch; similar to the Putt View system. Miscellaneous (15 out of 15 points) I can’t speak to what other people will experience, but the team behind the ExPutt is committed to the product and developing products in this market. The team shipped the product to us within days of our being selected and reached out to us via email and phone to ensure we had our questions answered. Based on some of the things they discussed about future plans I know I would potentially purchase other products based on the quality of this product. When I read through the application forum, there were lots of comments about the possibility of using the product for putter fitting. In short, yes, you could use this for very basic putter fitting, but it would be the equivalent of using one of the $200 launch monitors instead of a Trackman or GC Quad. While definitely a step above something like the iPing putting app, this product isn’t on par with product like Blast or Capto due to the lack of captured data. For the guy who wants to do at home comparisons, this is a great tool. Continue to use or Stash in the Closet? (20 out of 20 points) For those old enough to remember, lets answer the $64,000 Does this product go in my closet or will I keep using it? The simple answer is that it will definitely be a mainstay in my putting practice; It is just too easy to setup and roll a few putts. The product hits the mark and is the perfect training aid to work on speed control. The one hope I have is that my wife lets me keep the second TV on the den. This product fits in a great niche and there really isn’t anything in the price range that compares. If you simply look at the ability to practice putts up to 50 feet on a variety of green speeds in your living room you won’t find anything better. 30-foot Birdie Ball greens cost $310 and 26-foot Wellputt greens are $460. In my opinion nothing matches up for someone looking to practice long putts and simulate different green speeds. If you have a golfing family, it provides features to provide whole family entertainment. Conclusion Alright, if you jumped straight here, you missed a lot of solid background info but decided it was too much to read and just want the final answer. Simply put if you play golf you probably average about 18.5 feet for your first putt. How do you practice those long putts at home; do you have a 20, 30, or 50-foot hallway? Are you going to buy a super long putting mat? If you want to practice lag putting and possibly dive into some putting related metric then the ExPutt is your answer. Whether you play a local muni or a perfectly manicured country club, you can practice using the correct green speed and putts up to 50 feet. This product cannot be compared to a SAM Puttlab, Quintic, Capto, or even the low-cost Blast motion device; they attach to the putter and capture information about how the putter moves. The ExPutt provides barebones information that help you practice putting especially distance control. I am typically skeptical about putting training aids but after having had an opportunity to actually using the aid, I would definitely purchase the product. During the review the ExPutt team shared that they are looking at producing follow on products and based on the quality of this aid, I am already saving some money to purchase. If Siskel and Ebert were reviewing this product they would rate 2 thumbs up. Popular Post cksurfdude
First... A big THANK YOU! to ExPutt, to MGS and to the MGS GolfSpies!! This was truly an interesting, fun and very worthwhile testing experience! EXPUTT GOLF PUTTING SIMULATOR Official MGS Forum Member Review August, 2020 === In Brief... ExPutt provides a convenient way to practice putting at home, helping a golfer work on both starting line and distance control on putts from 5 to 50 feet, and at green speeds from 6 to 13. A “Challenge” mode adds a way to work on breaking putts; a "Play" mode provides an added layer of realism / immersion - allowing up to 4 players (in the same room, not virtually) to compete against each other putting out on each of 9 holes. So a nice combination of serious practice and serious fun! However, being a software simulation .. and depending on your individual putting style .. a golfer may need to adapt to "seeing" the distance to the hole and “reading” the breaks as they're projected on your 2D screen. On-screen guides and hints aid in visualization though do require a little getting used to. There are, imho, some user interface and usability issues that could be enhanced to make the product even easier to use and understand. Some of the data displays could be presented differently, and adding more flexibility in setting options could further enhance the overall experience. Bottom line... ExPutt can be a useful tool for any golfer ... especially those without access to a quality practice green ... and it allows for a more varied practice versus standard flat, limited length mats. I found it to be fun, engaging and – most importantly – a definite benefit to my actual on-course putting. === INTRO... Player Profile.. ..average recreational bogey golfer; 64 y.o. male; 11th season golfing ..putting averages (thru mid-July 2020) are 2.0 putts per hole and 1.4 x 3-putts per 9 holes ..fyi full Player Intro post is at... https://forum.mygolfspy.com/topic/39526-2020-official-member-review-exputt-putting-simulator/?do=findComment&comment=661902 Product setup.. ..began mid-July and we worked through in stages – starting with initial setup / first impressions. I’m sure I was the most nerdy about setup as I read through the user manual first – and learned that the camera expects to be set within both a certain height range off the floor and a certain horizontal distance from the front edge of the mat. Other testers had commented about problems with lighting – that resulted in some putts not being read by the system – so I was careful to consider that in my setup also. A few setup pics... FYI: the next few pages in this thread .. after these Official Review posts .. contain each tester’s experiences in getting the ExPutt from the box to recording putts. Product testing.. The following links go to my more detailed individual Stage Reviews... Practice >> Challenge >> Play >> As it turned out, working through each mode this way was a nice progression when you consider that many golf coaches recommend you split your practice into... .. block (eg. working on a specific part of your swing at the range) then .. random (eg. hitting different clubs or shots after each ball) and then .. pressure (eg. hit a different club at a different target each time, as if you were on the course, and score yourself on how close you were to your targets). There were lots of good discussions on different aspects of each stage amongst the testers, so I (again) encourage interested readers to scan further through this thread. OK ... on to the scoring criteria! QUALITY OF COMPONENTS Score: 8 of 10 The hardware components – camera, mat, remote – seem to be of decent enough quality but I just felt that... (a) camera – the plastic riser pieces that attach the cam to the weighted base or optionally to the stick-on TV mount do not appear to me solid enough and I was treating them very gingerly; nor do they fit very snugly into the base or the TV mount. Note: all software and the processing system is fully contained within the camera housing. Also note the units we received are .. I’m guessing .. the third major version (or: first full production release after alpha (trial) and beta (wider testing) versions; labeled “300D” on the User Manual and “300EN” on the startup screen). (b) mat – the smooth surface seems well-bonded to the rubber backing, and so far shows no sign of wear from use. The shock-absorbing foam at the receiving end of the ball seems suited to the task, and looks like it could be replaced easily enough if it ever needed to be. The mat’s rubber itself, though, while I’m sure was well-tested for weight vs portability compromise ... ie. if a user were to roll it up and store it after every use .. could be a bit heavier material to help it lay flat and to smooth out any highs/lows coming through from the surface it’s laying on. (c) remote – functional but seems a tad lightweight so be careful when young kids are around. EASE OF USE Score: 7 of 10 While it’s very simple to just turn on and start putting, there are a number of user interface elements and navigation usability items throughout that I feel could be further simplified and refined (1). To fully understand your way in and around the whole system is best done by reading through the user manual while you are setting up, and also first time running through each mode. (1) Think of looking at an iPhone screen – it’s always immediately and completely obvious what is happening on the screen, what the phone is doing and what input it expects from the user – anyone can pick it up and use it (besides .. who has read an iPhone user manual???) In various parts of ExPutt I see things that, imho, are not always immediately and completely obvious nor quick to find or understand. A few quick examples range from... ...simple – in the Main Program Settings is an option called “BGM” .. why not label this what it is .. “Background Music”? ...to a little complicated your first time through – in Challenge mode you hit 1 to 3 balls .. which varies dependent on your first or second putt success .. from each of 3 randomly assigned positions on 9 different greens; the on-screen prompts showing you at what point you are at in the round could be made much clearer. ...to more complicated to find and navigate into – Practice mode affords a “Putting Analysis” but (a) there two different paths in to get started ... and several clicks on the remote are required; (b) once started the on-screen cue is a faint white countdown number; and (c) it requires exactly 30 putts (no more, no less; and presumably .. but not obviously .. it ignores all prior putts in the current practice session)... So... instead of all this, why not simply always present the user with an option to view the analysis data screens after they exit the current practice session (ie. no separate input during practice required)? Also, as one alternative maybe add an option in practice settings to “Clear all prior data?” so a user could easily run multiple analyses – eg. one user testing out multiple putters, or maybe multiple users practicing together. Initial Setup... While it is possible to grab everything out of the box and start putting within a few minutes – allowing the on-screen “Searching For Mat” process to prompt you on locating the mat – there are actually several important details that are spread over several pages in the (32 page) User Manual. This is a case where the product could benefit from including a separate, very clearly drawn and annotated setup diagram; highly visible in the packaging ... eg. a “Read Me First!” sheet. Minor, but worth mentioning – the User Manual could be better edited for brevity and clarity. Understanding Settings... Again, it’s possible to putt without changing any settings and just leaving all the defaults; but this is a case where scanning through the User Manual is helpful so at least you’ll know what’s available and where to look (especially if you’re a lefty). On the plus side, within any of three modes one press of the same “Menu” button on the remote brings up the available settings for that mode. Understanding the Three Modes... Entering each mode presents an overview/instruction screen, with text on the left and an annotated image of that stage’s screen in the center... I’d suggest less text / more use of short bullet points; while the diagram could be larger and break out the callout text to outside the image frame ... to make it all more easily scannable / “digestible”. There’s also a timeout after which this help screen gives way to the “live” screen – maybe change that to have the user click “OK” to proceed (similar to other screens in the system). But note this same info is available in corresponding sections within the user manual. BASIC CHARACTERISTICS / USAGE Score: 25 of 30 Getting used to putting... After I put the mat down I went and hit a few putts, without the camera and screen on, to get a feel for rolling the ball across it. It felt smooth and looked like the ball rolled true to its starting line (assuming the mat is on a flat, level surface!). However ... my style of putting includes a picking a spot on my aim line right in front of the ball that I’ll roll the ball over, and that’s not so easy on the mat’s matte black surface... --> in this pic I lightened the exposure to highlight the details. There is a set of black marks 1 foot in front of the “ready” zone where you place the ball, but it’s not easy for these old eyes to pick out. According to a source at ExPutt the addition of any markings onto the mat is strongly discouraged as it could interfere with the camera’s ability to gauge the progress of the ball after it’s hit. So at first I found myself looking up to the two sets of marks at the front of the mat (at 0.5 meter and 2 feet in front of the “ready” zone). I experimented with trying to set up a laser pointer for an aim spot but then was spending more time trying to line up my ball exactly in-line with the laser spot and a center mark at the front of the mat, so I just ditched that – especially after I tested and decided as long as you roll the ball straight from any position within the “ready” zone, the system will recognize it as a straight putt. So now I orient the line on the ball “straight” and focus on the back of the ball when putting. ...The next step was go into Practice mode and get a feel for hitting straight and for putting speed. Practice... Yes, the first few putts were all over the place but it was easy to adapt. The real time data updates after each putt provide meaningful feedback and help you work on your putting stroke. I also quickly discovered that green speed 10 is faster than most of the muni greens where I typically play .. it felt more like private club greens; 9 seemed more inline with the munis. With a click of the “Menu” button on the remote you access the Settings, but changing things requires a number of arrow presses and “OK” clicks to select and set each option and then to get down to the final “OK” to apply all options and go back to your practice session. "Analysis" in the Settings shown above starts a 30-putt putting analysis; at the end you're asked if you want to review the results or not (wouldn't you?!?) and then the three analysis screens are presented (not shown here .. add'l comments below). After trying out various settings, I pretty quickly focused on “Green Speed” of 10 at “Random” distances with a “Max” of 30 feet. And the “Blossom” background looks pleasant (just changes the picture; the practice green is always flat and level). One place where ExPutt Practice has really been helping me is to refine my distance control – in my putting I’d get a feel for the distance to the hole visually and then react to that to determine my stroke (..if that makes sense?) ... and now, after being able to practice at various distances I’ve started to work out a calibration for my stroke, so now a part of my pre-putt process is to “guesstimate” the distance to the hole and rehearse the corresponding stroke length. Challenge... For the next level of practice, you now face breaking putts and scoring over a 9 hole putting round. Getting used to reading the breaks does require some learning and getting used to; on-screen tools are provided but not all of these may be useful to you. There are Settings available to select a green speed (same as in Practice) and a “Course” difficulty – ranging from “Spring” (easiest) thru “Summer” (slightly harder) then “Fall” (harder) to “Winter” (hardest). Here’s a vid clip of accessing Challenge mode from the main startup screen and changing settings... The computer graphics of the greens do a decent job of trying to show you shading and lighter / darker areas to provide some depth and perspective; ie. represent a 3D space onto a 2D screen. Random thought: since the green is not moving (like a scene in a video game) perhaps a more realistic terrain photo could be superimposed on top of the greens? The on-screen break reading tools include... “elevation change” in feet / inches between the ball and the hole (-0' 9" in blue here) (note that’s just point to point .. some breaks may have other uphill/downhill in-between) Downhill is marked with a “-“ minus sign but uphill doesn’t show a “+”. “water drop” grid overlaying the green; the drops are moving from higher to lower areas and the relative speed indicates the relative slope along each grid line. I’d like to see an option to hide / show this. “heat” (or contour, or topo) map at the upper-right; the color scale indicates the transition from higher (brighter) to lower (darker) areas. I’d like to see an overlay line between the ball and the hole; as you adjust your aim this line moves to reflect that. “Hints” strip (“?” button on remote, or mat) displays three values along the bottom of the screen... Ball Speed – as a metric other testers found this useful but I did not; I don’t know how to hit a ball at exactly, say, 5.6 mph. Angle to Hole – starts out at 0.0 and increments as you aim right or left; again, I found no utility in this value. Aim Distance from Hole – indicates how far left or right to set your aim; this hint is useful when starting out as you can adjust the aim until it goes to 0’ 0” ... so you start to learn how much break the system is looking for. Note that "L" means the hole is to the left of your aim line ... so you adjust your aim to the right(?!?). fyi .. I no longer use the hints. “Lowered” or kneeling position - not shown in this pic - (down arrow on remote, or “H”-looking symbol on mat) - adjusts the on-screen perspective to mimic you kneeling behind your ball. Useful in some situations and not in others ... found myself using this less and less – vs my actual on-course experience where I almost always do; looking at the heat/topo map I try to "see" my intended putting line drawn on there. So aiming can be a bit of an acquired talent. The first several times trying to do it without the “Hints” I found myself way under-reading the break, which is opposite my typical on-course experience. But after a while you do start to figure it out, and it becomes a fun .. well .. challenge to ignore the hints and set your own line. The Challenge stage is setup to allow you three chances to figure out each break and get the ball within 3 feet of the hole; first try earns more points vs second try, second more than third and there’s a +3 point bonus for holing out on any try (or zero if 3 misses outside of 3 ft). After a putt is holed or within three feet you’re moved to the next position on the same green, until you’ve putted from three different positions on each of nine greens (so total of 27 positions you’re putting from). Note this mode is single player only. Although the simulation seems to put you into some strange spots sometimes, Challenge does provide an excellent way to practice .. let’s call it .. real enough for indoors breaking putts of varying types. The addition of scoring (where high score “wins”) is a nice feature to push you into an “every stroke counts” mindset. ...One thing that I’d like to see added within this mode is a new option to keep working on a particular putt; for example, you see one kind of break you’d like to spend more time working on ... so you could click an option to “Stay in this Position” and keep rolling putts from there ... and not count score while its active ... and then go back and pick up where you left off in the Challenge round. Play... Play looks just like Challenge, and has the same green-/break-reading tools, except here after your first putt the second is from the spot that the first putt stopped at – so you have to hole out in as few strokes as possible, just like in an actual golf game. Play mode also allows up to 4 players – together in the same room, not virtually – to compete against each other. Two notable differences from Challenge mode is that in Play to earn a concede your ball must stop inside of 2 feet, vs 3 ft in Challenge; and then the hole capture in Play seemed more strict – that is, your line and speed had to be more precise for the ball to drop vs Challenge or Practice. On the one hand this could be considered a good increased level of pressure in your practice, but otoh some short putts did not drop where out on the course it seemed that they would (all the testers agreed on this point). Overall Play provides an excellent added dimension to the product, although ... and this is a critique of Practice mode but since in Challenge you have to put from 3’ 1” and in Play from 2’ 1” then these shorter distances should be available in Practice. ON-COURSE PERFORMANCE AND BENEFITS Score: 15 of 15! ExPutt – despite my numerous comments on interface / usability issues – provides a great way to practice ... anytime right at home ... putts of varying distances up to 50 feet, putts on faster or slower greens and breaking putts of all different types. After only a few uses I’ve found that my live on-course putting has improved... Starting Line Practice mode forces you to focus on this element of your putting; the putter data and visual feedback of watching your ball roll towards the hole – on a known flat, level surface – helps ingrain better stroke mechanics. Distance Control Practice mode, using my fave Random distances, affords the opportunity to / forces you to hit a different length putt every time. This is a huge benefit for working on calibrating stroke length to putt distance. Bonus – hit as many balls as you like and you never have to walk around and pick up any of them! Reading – and putting over – Breaks How often do you actually get to practice this? And, repeatedly? While, yes – it’s a computer simulation and a virtual 3D picture onto a 2D screen – I’ll counter that any practice is good practice, but more importantly - that by paying attention to how far high / low / long / short your first putt is you can build up your “mental database” of more/less break with more/less speed to put to use in varying on-course situations. OK, so now ... With respect to that $64,000 Question: “Does the ExPutt help improve your actual, on-course putting?” In my initial Intro review I’d outlined some then-current putting stats and out the following three goals... How close am I leaving the 1st putt, from any starting distance / any slope? How good am I at sinking 2nd putts, from any starting distance? How, let’s call it, efficient is my putting in terms of # feet of putts made vs total first putt distance? ... and while I only have a few rounds so far to compare to my initial numbers – at this point I can definitively state that I’m improving on each of those items, that is... More first putts are just missing the hole and finishing closer – ie. more easy tap-ins vs knee-knocker second putts; More 8 – 10 footers are just missing the hole and a few are starting to drop, plus I feel more confident over those pesky 4 – 5 footers and am sinking a few more of those; So given #2 just listed I’ll have to preliminarily conclude that, yes, I’ve started to sink a few more feet of putts in my more recent rounds. And, please note, re: 3-putts – my pre-testing stats showed an average of 1.4 per 9 holes; my last four 9-hole rounds I had just 1 x 3-putt each time (although.. technically the last round’s 3-putt was a 2-putt as I started from the fringe and misjudged the downhill speed so ran the ball waaay past the hole .. but the second (or first? ha ha) putt was an “almost”!). Short answer to the $64,000 Question: Yes! MISCELLANEOUS Score: 10 of 15 Overall ExPutt provides varied ways to practice and improve, but ... there are a number of things that I consider could be better programmed / presented and things that are missing / would be nice to have; some of these include... Practice Settings.. .. you can select “Fixed”, “Random” or “Increasing” putt distances and a “Max Distance”. Here if you were to select “Fixed” and “Max” of 5 feet you’d only be putting 5 footers .. there’s nothing shorter available in Practice mode .. which seems like an oversight as in Challenge you may be putting from 3’ 1” and in Play mode you may be putting from 2’ 1”. ..“Increasing” is very limited .. select this and, say, “Max” of 30 feet and you have four putts = 5, 10, 20, 30 and then the cycle repeats. Needs to add more putts per cycle, eg. 15, 25; plus – why not a “Decreasing” option? Or.. combine both “Increasing” and “Decreasing” into one “Ladder Drill”? ..“Max Distance” – again, if “5” is available as a Max then there must be shorter putts available; also I’d like to see “n5” distances .. eg. 15, 25, 35. ..add new feature: “Slope” – allow the user to angle the practice green from +/- 1 to, say, +/-5 degrees; would allow an in-between mode from Practice to Challenge and let the user practice both left-to-right and right-to-left breaking putts on varying slopes/distances. Practice screen interface... The first time in this screen appears very busy. Anyone who has been on a launch monitor and/or had a putter fitting will appreciate all the data, but this is another area where the interface could be cleaned up – existing data could be more clearly presented, duplicated data could be removed (putter path and face angle at impact appear three(!) times, and ... new data could be shown. --> you can see Putter Path = "R0.9" in this pic three times .. and "Impact Angle" = "L0.0" twice .. plus each value is represented again as a graphic in the putter path plot to the left of the green... I feel this whole presentation could be re-engineered; I go more in-depth in this critique... >> https://youtu.be/_0PMi7svkdM * New data I’d like to see presented... Distance From Hole on last putt The system already tracks distance from hole as it’s a part of “Putting Analysis” ... so why not make it available real-time with every putt? Average Distance From Hole over all putts Average Distance From Hole for each distance category = 5-10, 10-20, 20-30, 30-40, 40-50 You are shown this visually on the Practice Summary screen through 5 dispersion plots, but there are no values. Number of Makes / %tge / Total Putts for each distance category and over all putts Your selected Practice Settings reflected on-screen – now see only Green Speed should include “Distance Mode” (eg. “Random”) and “Max Distance” (eg. “30”) Same comment applies to the Practice Summary, Putting Analysis screens. If possible with the system/camera – Impact Location on the putter face as a graphic If possible with the system/camera – Backstroke Length Practice Summary screen... After the busy Practice screen, the Summary screen with your results seems strangely “quiet”... The separate dispersion plots are helpful, but I’d like to see more numbers displayed – especially those for “Makes”, “Misses” and “Average Distance From Hole”, etc. ,etc. – overall and for each distance category. "Distance Deviation" could be better explained - it's not a direct measure of your misses, it's the standard deviation of all your misses ... so gives no information about the actual distance from the hole of any of your misses. A small number indicates a lesser dispersion of all your misses. So... Just as an example presentation for Makes / Misses / Distance From Hole, here’s a sample chart / data table I drew up in a spreadsheet... And here's a few minute video critique of various elements I see in the Practice Summary screen... >> https://youtu.be/_Y0buOzcuBk Challenge mode... Mentioned above, but I'd like to see an option to "Stay At This Position" to allow the user to keep working on a specific break ... and suspend scoring while doing so; then set this option "Off" to return to the spot you left in the Challenge round. Another useful addition as a training aid could be to project a system-suggested putting line as a new faint, white overlay line atop the water droplet grid ... and then after you hit your putt ... show a red shot tracer like line that was your putt - and you can visually compare the two. Play mode... A few more comments not already mentioned elsewhere… Hole Fly-Over - before starting each hole there is a too quick fly-over showing you the general layout of the green; there are little numbered markers for each player's starting position. It might be helpful to slow this down a bit, or maybe give the user pause/rewind buttons. Hole Diameter - allow a player to select the larger cup option (currently in Main Program Settings) for themselves; eg. a child playing against a parent. Hole Capture - all the testers agreed it seemed more strict vs Challenge and also Practice modes ... for example, some short, firm putts that seemed to drop in the earlier modes might continue straight over the hole here. Might be better if this were more consistent across all modes, or least a user-selectable option. Scorecard - only shows you the total number of strokes per hole, which includes both your GIR strokes and your putts, and then the total score for 9 holes. Shows you the green speed selected but does not show you the course name. I feel it would be helpful info to also display each player's total Number of Putts and Average Putts per Hole; and maybe even an "Avg Distance From Hole on 1st Putt" stat. Virtual camera... After hitting a putt the view randomly jumps from “First Person” .. where you’re watching the putt from where you’re standing (which to me would be the most useful so you can watch the ball roll the entire way – ie. this is a practice training aid) to a more video game-like view of “Overhead-Follow” (where you don’t really see very much of your putt) or ... in Challenge and Play ... “Behind the Hole” (kind of a ground-level close-up – and sometimes the upside-down spinning pyramid that indicates the hole location actually blocks the view of the ball coming in – and honestly I don’t understand the reasoning behind using this view other than for game-like entertainment?). I’d make this a user-selectable option so it can stay consistent (or include “Random” as the default option?). Remote... Minor criticism: the back button on the remote should always take the user back one step in the system; eg. exit Practice mode to return to the main menu, etc. CONTINUE TO USE OR STASH IN CLOSET? Score: 20 of 20! I will absolutely continue using the ExPutt! And regularly! While I will not be using every available feature on a regular basis (for example, personally I can skip the putting analysis embedded in Practice mode), most frequently I will be using... Practice – at Random distances / Max of 30 feet / Green Speed 9 or 10 (...and occasionally a Green Speed of 8 or 11, or Max of 50) Challenge and Play – on Spring and Summer courses / Green Speed 9 or 10 (...along with an occasional foray onto the Fall or Winter course) And it’s also fun on those rainy days when we’re stuck inside and my wife says, “Let’s have a putting contest!” --- ** CONCLUSION... ExPutt – despite my numerous comments on interface / usability issues – provides a great way to practice ... anytime at home ... varying distance putts up to 50 feet, putts on faster or slower greens and breaking putts of different types. Yes – it’s a computer simulation, so yes – it’s less than perfect and less ideal than getting outside onto a very large, well-maintained and well-sloped actual practice green, but ... for those of us who do not access to such a practice green it’s much better than the standard (flat, limited length) putting mat. Although it appears I may have been strict in my scoring – again, due to interface and usability issues I feel could be cleaned up and better presented – there is a lot of good information and feedback provided, along with the multiple usage modes, that makes the ExPutt a valuable putting training aid. I really like the product – it’s fun to use and no question has helped my on-course putting – and I will continue to use it. I look forward to seeing how future versions build upon what they have here. --- *** FINAL SCORE: QUALITY OF COMPONENTS / Score: 7 of 10 EASE OF USE / Score: 8 of 10 USAGE CHARACTERISTICS / Score: 25 of 30 ON-COURSE BENEFITS / Score: 15 of 15 MISCELLANEOUS / Score: 10 of 15 CONTINUE TO USE OR STASH IN CLOSET? / Score: 20 of 20 TOTAL: 85 of 100 *** ExPutt Practice starts out like this... Popular Post gavinski91
EXPUTT – Official MGS Forum Review by @gavinski91 TL/DR: If you’re someone who likes to dive into the data and wants to make improvements on your putting, the EXPUTT could be a worthwhile investment. The ability to practice 50’ lag putts in a 4’ space is something that not many other putting practice aids can match, and you might enjoy the Challenge and Play modes more than I do. Look at it this way – if you want to spend $400 to improve your putting, this will almost certainly be more effective at shaving strokes than that Scotty Cameron you were eyeing in the pro shop last week! Throughout the pages of this thread there is a lot of technical information about the EXPUTT system, photos of it in use, and more. While I’m going to cover some of that in this review, I wanted this to be more than what the system is and how it works, so I’m going to include a lot of information about how the EXPUTT changed the way I putt. I don’t expect any two people to have the exact same experience with the system, but maybe some of my experiences are something that someone else might find valuable. If you want some background about me and my impressions of the EXPUTT, check out this post. There is no denying that my putting has gotten better since I got the EXPUTT system. In the above box-and-whisker charts, the blue data represents the 10 rounds before I got the EXPUTT system, and the orange the 6 rounds since. If you’re unfamiliar with box-and-whisker plots, all you need to know is that most rounds will fall in the range of the solid-color box, with particularly good or bad rounds falling in the “whiskers” above and below. So not only did my putting get better (shown by the fact that the orange boxes are centered lower in the chart), it also got more consistent from round to round (shown by the fact that the orange boxes are smaller). In fact, my post-EXPUTT 3-Putts per Round was so consistent I had to add some fake data points to make the chart visible! Whether all of that improvement is due to the EXPUTT is unclear, but it certainly played a significant part. So, what all changed? Practice. Golf for me is a hobby first and foremost. While my rounds with my brothers may have a competitive undertone, we’re out there to have fun. I don’t play in tournaments and leagues, and so with my limited time available for golf, I prefer to play rather than practice. With the EXPUTT however it becomes much easier to practice putts, even if just for 10 minutes after dinner. The portability and small footprint of the system is hugely helpful here – I can practice 50’ lag putts in a 4’ x 6’ space on the floor in front of the TV. Data. It’s a numbers game! I’m a big fan of data-driven decision making, but for me putting had always been about feel. Even spending time on a practice green, there’s no way to tell if I missed the putt just right because I left the face open 0.6°, or because the green isn’t actually level, or because someone else’s shoes scuffed up the green and pushed the ball off line. Being able to repeatedly make the same putt on a system that monitored what I was doing allowed me to identify and correct issues in real time. Stroke Length. Building off of that, one of the first issues that I identified was that I tried to control ball speed based off of club head speed and not stroke length. I chose to measure stroke length in terms of ball speed rather than putt distance, since putt distance is a function of ball speed (which I can control) and green speed(which I can’t control). I quickly learned that my old approach wasn’t repeatable, and was also tough to do when you didn’t have a real-life visual on the putt distance and instead had to look at a screen. The above image is approximately what I now visualize when it comes to correlating stroke length with ball speed, thanks to my time spent practicing on EXPUTT. Grip. Early on in testing, one of the issues I identified was that, on short putts, I struggled greatly with face angle control. Even watching my backswing I could see the face wobbling by about 1.5° in either direction. A switch to a Golfpride Tour SNSR Contour Pro grip from the stock skinny grip made a huge difference there. Seeing the data on the EXPUTT was the impetus I needed to make the change. I also experimented with different hand orientations, but none of them were as consistent as my traditional grip. Confidence. The accumulation of the above-mentioned changes resulted in a massive increase of confidence for me. Putting is a largely mental game, and being confident is hugely important – I’m now at the point where, unless there is a significant amount of break, every 6’ putt I’m standing over I’m confident will go in. In fact, I may be too confident in my putting – as is evidenced in me walking in what would have been my first-ever eagle, only for it to lip out. No matter, though; as long as the misses don’t get in my head, I think the high level of confidence is good for my game. Bottom line, will I continue to use the EXPUTT? My answer is “Yes”, but with two caveats. One is that there are limitations to the data that it provides, and it’s important to understand those limitations before you use the data to make changes to your putting. I found early on that impact angle had a very strong correlation to launch direction, while putter path had a very weak correlation, suggesting to me initially that having an impact angle <1° was all that was necessary to putt the ball straight. However, I found as I spent more time practicing with the system that occasionally a poor impact angle was the cause of a missed putt, but more often than not both the impact angle and the missed putt were the result of an off-center strike. The system measures the angle of the putter face immediately after ball contact, not before. I tend to putt with a very light grip, so my putting stroke may come in with a face angle of 0°, but the face is pushed open by 2° or more when I hit the ball toe-side, and closed when I hit the ball heel-side. The limited data that the system gives would suggest that a miss left of the hole is the result of a closed face angle, while in reality both the left miss and the closed face are results of a heel-side strike on the club face. Someone who wasn’t paying close enough attention could spend hours trying to work on squaring up the club face at impact based on the data the system was giving them, when in reality they should instead be focused on hitting the center of the club face. Of course, not every putter or putting stroke is impacted the same way by off-center contact, but it’s certainly a factor to consider. The second is that while the device is excellent for practicing starting putts on line and getting the correct ball speed, the green reading system, when combined with the fact that you’re looking at a 2-d representation of a green, makes the challenge and play modes useless for improving your game. While those modes may make for a fun game with friends over a few beers, it feels closer to Wii Golf than Augusta National. To be completely honest, if I want to have fun with a putter in one hand and a beer in the other, I would prefer mini-golf (or for the true weirdos among us, putt-putt). The practice mode, however, is excellent. It has helped me improve my putting stroke consistency, and also helped me identify other areas that can be fixed by other means, such as switching to a new grip. In the future I would like to make the switch to a face-balanced putter, and if I do you can bet the first thing I’ll do is use the EXPUTT system to determine if the switch was the right move, or if I need to return the putter. And for those of you who want to go full mad scientist, you’ll appreciate this last bit. Since I've gained the ability, thanks to the EXPUTT system, to putt the ball to a certain speed (+/- 10%), I spent about 4 hours hitting balls at specific speeds on varying speeds of green to develop this chart (on average it takes me 12 shots to hit a ball exactly the speed I want, down to 0.1 mph). I’m thinking I can print it out and laminate it to keep in my bag. 10 minutes on the practice green to identify the speed that the greens are playing at a course, and step out the length of each putt to determine what ball speed I need (adjusted for elevation change) and my lag putting should improve immensely. Bryson would be proud! Here are the final scores I give the system. Quality of Components – 7/10 While none of the components, with the exception of the power adapter, are poor quality, neither are they what I would consider a premium product. The storage bag for the mat is cheap material, the remote feels uncomfortably light, and there isn’t a sense of a high level of manufacturing and qc. It seems like it was designed and built as a tool to get the job done, and that’s ok. My initial review explains this in more detail. Ease of Use – 10/10 In the interest of giving an experience that matches what most users would do, I still haven’t opened the user manual for the EXPUTT. While the menus may be visually unappealing, and the buttons on the remote slower to respond than I would have liked, I had no problem at all setting the system up and getting started. The live camera mode when first starting the system up was especially helpful for properly lining up the mat and getting the system up and running. Basic Characteristics – 22/30 This section was where my preference against Challenge and Play modes really penalizes the score I would give the system. Only having a single mode to use limits the amount of time I would choose to spend, and as the weeks of testing went on I found myself less and less excited to turn the system on and spend an hour or more rolling putts. By the end of the Play Mode test week it felt more like a workout routing – something I had to force myself to do to improve, and not something I was looking forward to. I think my frustrations with that mode were a large part of the issue – since that test week finished I’ve stuck with just using Practice mode and have enjoyed it a lot more. As a note, due to Covid restrictions I haven’t had the ability to test the system in a social setting. I hope to have my brother over sometime soon and will run through the Play mode with him. There is a chance that that experience will change my feelings about that mode, in which case I will come back and update my review. On-Course Performance – 14/15 The data speaks for itself here! I’ve made significant improvements to my putting since I started using the EXPUTT, and hopefully that trend continues! My only concern is that there were a few times when I wasn’t 100% confident that the numbers the system were giving me accurately represented the putting stroke I had made – a putt that appeared to go right on the mat might miss the hole to the left on the screen. I haven’t been able to replicate those concerns though through repeated testing, so that may be an issue with my perception of the marks on the mat as the ball rolls past them. Miscellaneous – 15/15 As a company, EXPUTT is excellent. The founder, Mo, was very willing to answer any questions we sent him via email (and there were a lot)! Separately from that, when I posted a shot of my practice time on my Instagram story, the company reached out to make sure that I was happy with the product and to see if I had any questions or concerns. They also shared with me that there is more in the pipeline, so I’m excited to see what comes next! Continue to Use – 16/20 Moving forward for me, the EXPUTT system will be a swing improvement and practice tool. I can’t imagine I’ll use the Challenge and Play modes very often, but will instead be sticking to Practice mode to ensure that I can repeatably hit putts at specific speeds, and make sure that my putts are starting on line. For that limited use, and with my concerns about the feel of the product, I would say it’s slightly overpriced at MSRP. Additionally, I would love to see the system have the ability to measure launch angle as well – I’m imagining an add-on ground-level camera that looks at the ball from the side and communicates with the main system via Bluetooth. Maybe that’s something we’ll see in a future generation of the product. Final Score – 84/100 Summary: If you’re someone who likes to dive into the data and wants to make improvements on your putting, the EXPUTT could be a worthwhile investment. The ability to practice 50’ lag putts in a 4’ space is something that not many other putting practice aids can match, and you might enjoy the Challenge and Play modes more than I do. Golfspy_CG2
CG2 ExPutt Review Well I suppose most of you know about my role here, if you don't then that means I'm like a good referee, you don't notice me. But in short for the new members: My name is Rob/Robert either one is fine. I have been on MGS for 4 years now, and am my third year of serving in an administrator role, one year as a moderator and the past 18 months as Forum Director along with Golfspy_Studque. My full time job is the Tournament Director of a golf course in Maryland. I get the opportunity to try and or buy a lot of equipment, and I take full advantage of it. While I will play just anything that has a grip and head on it, it's not secret that my "home brand" if you will is Titleist. But PING, Mizuno, TM, Callaway, Srixon, Wilson, PXG and Cobra have all had a spot in the bag at some point or another. I'm not the longest hitter, maybe 220 off the tee, and my handicap has moved as often as my bag setup has. As high as 22 at the beginning of 2018 to a low of 15.9 at the end of last year. This year, due to COVID and a course that is so damn busy I can't even get a tee time as an employee, I haven't played as much and didn't register an official index this year....I know shame on me. I'll change that in 2021 as I hope to play a few tournaments, that I didn't this year. As a short hitter, I've had to develop a good short game, and generally it keeps my index from getting completely out of hand. Putting is my absolute strength and as a result, it's the club I've changed out the least amount. I have two that I go between, the PING Tyne 4 and a Scotty Cameron Phantom 5.5. So this testing will be interesting to see if I'm as good as I claim My Hobby, since golf is my job, is college basketball, I cover it for a couple media outlets in the area and online, let's hope there is a season this year. I was really excited to take part in this testing, when I was setting it up for the forum, the owner Mo said he wanted me to be part of it as well, so they offered up another unit for me to take part in. How great is that. My first impressions when I opened up the package, is what a professional and high quality product and presentation it was. I had seen some promotional videos of the product from the My Golf Spy 59 awards and on Twitter from Ex Putt, so I kind of knew what to expect from an equipment standpoint, but it was much more compact than I expected. The camera unit, remote and stand were all securely packaged in one box, then the mat was rolled up in a tight bundle and placed in a very nice carrying case. Set up was pretty straight forward, I took the time to read the very small and not too detailed user manual, and from unpacking to my first putt was maybe 15 minutes. Quality of components (9 out of 10 points) As mentioned the packaging was very well presented and protected the camera extremely well. Each item is of high quality construction, the camera and stand were a little less bulky and heavy than I thought they would be. That's a good thing, but it also caused me to be very aware of where I set it up to make sure it wouldn't topple or fall easily. It never has yet to date. As to the technical and smart features, some of the other testers who are technical people by profession have already chimed in with several great comments here, that I can't possibly improve on. I will just add the feature that allows you to move the view of the green, wasn't 100% clear in the manual from my reading and it took a bit of trial and error to use it accordingly. Also as some others have mentioned the relatively short HDMI cable can possibly limit your setup. I know some have bought a longer cord, but I made my home set up work as well as the at work setup. Ease of use (8 out of 10 points) I already touched on the ease of setup. As far as ease of use, the navigation on the main menu is very straight forward and easy to follow. Each mode has a description up front and was pretty simple to understand. I do think there could definitely be more detail on all the features in each mode. For example on conceded putt mode, I think you determine after a few putts that anything inside 3 feet is conceded, I don't recall seeing that in any of the previews of each mode. That's not a huge deal, but little things like that throughout each mode would have been helpful. Basic Characteristics (25 out of 30 points) One of the key thing we evaluate in any training or practice aid is, did it want to make you practice or did it make your practice more effective. I would give a big yes to both these questions. During this really hot part of summer, where I don't want to go hit balls on the range for 30 minutes, I easily have spent an hour or so going through an entire mode. As for making practice effective, I would say 100% the Practice mode is just as useful and maybe more so than time spent on the green. The part I found most helpful is the reading of the face angle. And without fail, anytime I missed a putt right, it showed my face at impact was open, and for left misses, almost always that my path was across the line. You can't always feel or see this on a practice green. So I've spent a lot of time practicing on keeping my face angle square. The one area I struggled early on is the short (3 to 4 feet) putts. During my first run at the challenge mode, I kept running 4 footers past the hole by 4 feet, and did the same coming back. This is something that I never do on course. The ball stop is essentially 2.5 feet from the mark you putt from. So in time, I learned to use that as a 2 foot putt and try to run the ball a foot past it. Other than face angle and club path, I'm not real sure it will help me a lot on short putt practice. On-Course Performance (12 out of 15 points) This is one that I'm sure each tester will score differently. I'm not really sure if it helped my on course performance with anything more than the face angle I already mentioned. So with enough and consistent time in the practice mode, I will know what to do to insure I keep the face and path correct, and be able to take that to the course, so in that way it's helpful. I'm a very feel type of putter, and generally have a very good feel for distance, it's probably the strongest part of my game. So I don't really find where the EX Putt helps me with distance control, as it might some others. While Practice mode may the most helpful, I found the Challenge Mode the most addictive. It's a 9 hole putting green where you get 3 chances each from 3 different locations to make a putt. If you make it on the first putt you get a higher score than you do on the 3rd putt, if you miss all three you get a fail, as you can see. You will note that some of my fellow testers scored much higher than my 163. That was a result of them using what I referred to as the "cheat mode" a helpful hint where you they show you the break fo the putt beforehand, I went based on my own visual---probably not a great idea. You can see the holes and locations get tougher as you go. Miscellaneous (14 out of 15 points) For this this product, I will say the biggest miscellaneous factor was the extremely fast shipping, which I believe is not just due to us being testers, but that would be the case for most purchase. Also the accessibility of the founder and owner Mo, who made himself available to several of the testers for questions and thoughts. And I have a feeling he would do so for just about anyone buying the Ex Putt Continue to use or Stash in the Closet? (18 out of 20 points) I will continue to use Ex Putt, definitely more so during the winter. Another thing that may be unique to me is that as I work at a golf course we have talked abut setting this up in the bar during the winter and having some putting leagues. The Play 9 Mode is perfect for this. It takes maybe 45 minutes for two players to complete the 9 holes, so it would make a perfect activity for some burgers and beers while competing. Conclusion It's biggest plus is it's without a doubt the best putting aid I've used to find out what is going on with your putting stroke and putting statistics to it. Not just visbily seeing you missed a putt to the right or left or short. There are so many stats, face angle, club path, speed of putt etc that can help you see why you missed and what your optimal stroke would look like. Beyond that it also then provides what most simulators should, very good graphics in a fun and challenging way to compete against other players or yourself. Popular Post cnosil
I am ready as well. Extra long hdmi cable in hand in case the supplied on isn’t long enough. MaxEntropy
My biggest concern is distance control - how does perceived distance of a 2D image translate to a 3D world in which feel and perception are large drivers in the stroke. I know it has been mentioned, but thought I'd throw it out there again. I've played on a couple other full-game simulators over the years and short game seems the most difficult to simulate to me. cksurfdude, gavinski91, artful_golfer and 3 others 6 Quote Driver: Epic Speed 9* (set -1) MMT 70X 3W: Tour B JGR Recoil 760ES 3H, 4H: Tour B JGR 19*, 23* Recoil 780ES 4-AW: Tour B JGR HF2 Modus3 Tour 105 SW: RTX Zipcore Black Satin 54* LW: TAIII Black 58* Putter: Scottsdale TR Senita Bag: BigMax Dri Active Lite Ball: TP5x or AVX (yellow) Pushcart: BigMax iQ+ Testing Complete, Final Review Posted: Sub70 TAIII Forged Wedges

I've had the same concern and am interested to see what it feels like. One thought I've had is wondering if this will change my approach to putting to be more like Bryson - pace out the putt so that you know the exact distance, and have swings associated with numerical distances (plus maybe a "plays like" to account for slope and green speed) rather than doing everything based off of feel. We all swing our irons based off of specific distances, knowing that a full swing with one club will go 165 yards, and a half swing with another club will go 95 yards, but when it comes to putting for most people I suspect it's all based on feel, and then rather than changing our swing we change how hard we hit the ball (keep in mind I'm speaking from a high-handicap perspective). This system I believe has the potential to radically change the way I approach putting. This system I believe has the potential to radically change the way I approach putting. My approach is a bit different. I control distance by length of stroke. I do think like swing to big toe, outside of back foot, hands to thigh, hands to outside of thigh. I calibrate the distance of those marks prior to the round. I don’t think anyone is a 100% feel player, nor do I believe anyone is 100% mechanical. We all fall someplace within that spectrum. My approach is more mechanical leaning, but still has a feel aspect for distances that aren’t in my stock measurements. daviddvm, MaxEntropy, sirchunksalot and 5 others 8 Quote Driver: G400 Max 9* w/ KBS Tour Driven Fairway: TS3 15* w/Project X Hzardous Smoke Hybrids: 915H 21* w/KBS Tour Graphite Hybrid Prototype 915H 24* w/KBS Tour Graphite Hybrid Prototype Irons: TR20V 6-11 w/Vizard TR20-85 Graphite Wedge: 54/12D, 60/8M w/:Accra iWedge 90 Graphite Putter: TM-180 Testing: Backups: Milled Collection RSX 2, mFGP2, Futura 5W Member: MGS Hitsquad since 2017
