Absolutely love how quick EXPUTT is to setup and tear back down. It's living in our spare bedroom where I have a perfect spot for it. 

I've been using it a lot, mostly 10-20 minutes here and there. Great little device.

Awesome on the code!  Thanks for following along in the thread. 

Today was a great day for it.  Torrential rain all day had the course closed.  So some practice mode was in order along with a challenge to the Head Pro.  

I see it getting a lot of use this winter.

I roll it up. The material unrolls perfectly flat.

I carved out a space in the basement for this, so it stays set up. It really is quick and easy to unroll and align the camera but it's a nice convenience to just have it ready to go if you have a spot!

I leave it on the floor, but folded over in half just so the putting surface doesn’t get dusty, or dog hairs, etc.  Even if you roll it up, it does unfold perfectly flat.

I'd imagine that there's a pretty significant backlog of orders, like at every other company this holiday season with so much less in-person shopping...

Have you tried reaching out to them at all? I've found the folks that run their Instagram page to be super responsive. Might be worth a shot to at least get an idea of when it will ship.

I've sent one email already with no response... Also ordered a pair of Adidas shoes for 50% off and haven't got a confirmation yet. Cyber Monday: Pandemic edition was a big fail.

Sounds like the problem is with the site you ordered through. Is there a customer service
Number? Calling and talking too a person is usually better than an email if you haven’t gotten a response.

Their switchboard bounces you to voice mail after 5 min on hold. Finally got through, suppose to receive more units end of this week and ship this week or early next week. 

In the meantime, I reached out to Exputt and they do ship to Canada even through there is no mention of it on their website. Sad that I missed out on the Black Friday deal and could have got the unit cheaper from them directly and probably got it sooner. Exputt is quoting approx $20 higher shipping fees, but at least I have a backup plan. Will cancel the original order if they still don't have units next week.

I just looked at my putting #s for the second half of this year, since mid-July - and in a bit of a disappointing surprise my overall averages came out slightly worse ....

• avg 2.05 putts per hole
• avg 1.775 x 3-putts per 9 holes

NOT blaming the ExPutt for this .. quite the opposite .. but am blaming several just horrid blow-up rounds late summer / early fall that really skewed the averages up....

So still more work to do over the Winter!!

I wouldn't worry about it this time of the year.  You will be better in the spring.  In my area the greens are not as nice as spring and summer.  Maintenance has been cut back; greens are not mowed every day; inconsistent speed; and a little bumpy.  Your greens are probably similar since it's the off season.

It was more just totally horrible play all-around those rounds .. no touch, no feel, no distance control on the putts, ....

But oh yeah we're gonna git 'em next year!

It finally arrived on Monday! Got to hit close to 100 putts, in the analysis screen the system commented about poor lighting and didn't provide face/path numbers. Of course it was the same night I had to go pick up weights for my home gym and the night before a snowboard day. So it took a lot of restraint to set it aside. 

Sunk my very first putt on the system which was a 20 footer, good omen for the Exputt and the EVNROLL. Longest make was 44' in practice. Now the real fun begins.

Depending on what color the face of your putter is you might have to resort to putting the stickers on the putter face. Doing that totally resolved any issues with not getting face/path numbers.

You can see (at least on my putter) the stickers at address, but I got used to it very quickly. It could be that additional lighting would fix the problem as well, but that wasn't really an option for my situation.

I didn't have to use stickers unless the face was dark.   Just make sure that there is light shining on the mat surface;  it isn't about ambient light.  Once I learned that,  i didn't have as many issues.

OK. @cnosil warned us: the "Winter" course in Play mode is stoopit hard!!

This was not the worst hole, either! (..maybe the easiest)

Starting putts all over 30 .. many closer to 50 .. feet, multiple breaks in different directions and often a mix of uphill-downhill-uphill or downhill-uphill-downhill with varying sideslopes in-between.

First -- MGS is additive ... and with all the time I spend learning stuff on golf

Any idea when the 'next' version might be coming out ?   I saw this post don their web site ( https://exputt.com/pages/our-story ) 

They stepped away from the semiconductor business and focus solely on golf technology and are now in the process of creating new products, such as a dynamic, full-swing simulator and the next generation for Exputt, which will include wifi capability and data extraction.

Sorry, I do not but possibly one of the other testers, who communicated more with the company, might.

Hopefully someone at ExPutt has at least scanned through the testing feedback for suggested enhancements to the next version. But the data extraction feature sounds particularly useful!

They told me in August that they were in the process of working on the full swing simulator, but didn't give any info about a timeline.

Friday after work I went full Spieth and hit putts without looking at the ball. Instead, I used the aim lines at the 2' mark as my target. (Usually a gate or "channel" between the two lines) 

Directional control was improved and it really freed me up on 5-10' putts, 20-30' was a bit of a struggle, 40-50' were good. My make rate was nearly double during Practice mode with increasing distance compared to my last few sessions. This is definitely a technique I will continue to play with especially at 5&10 feet as I tend to blow 5 footers past the hole and leave the 10 footers short more than I should. 

During Play 9 in the Summer setting, any of the 2+ foot leaves were virtually can't miss. I think I missed once out of 10+ second putts, including a make from 7' with break. Had 2 or 3 lip outs from 20+ feet. (I always use hints then align the aim to make the putt as straight as possible, the focus is picking a distance based on slope and hitting it there).

We are well into winter and I haven't been able to get to the course to practice putting.   However,  MGS' most wanted putter testing is well under way so over the past week I have been rolling lots of putts at 5, 10, and 20 foot distances.   While the putters vary as does the ball speed off each putter,  I am finding that my stroke is very consistent and I am seeing great results associated with ball dispersion.    Looking back over the past few years of testing this year my results are better that previous years.  Definitely attribute that to the ExPutt and working on rolling the ball various distances.    My stroke feels almost automatic.    Still a big fan of this tool!

36 putts in practice mode, first 5-50ft increasing then analysis mode. Only 3/36 putts outside the 3’ ring...

and they were all inside the 6’ ring at roughy 4, 5, and 6’... could be something to this thing
