J295
I bought new irons and am going to get rid of my AP2s which are 6 years old. I'm thinking I'll send them to Global Golf for a credit. Unless the $$ return is materially different selling them through another route (ebay??), I'm less interested in money and more interested in convenience since these are of modest value. Having said that, I don't know what I don't know so would appreciate any insights on handling these older clubs. Thank you. Quote J295
Brian A
If its not a money thing, see if there is any local organization you can donate them to. Likewise with any course that runs a PGA Jr program. My son benefited more than once from donated clubs when he quickly outgrew ones I had spent hundreds of $$ on for him LOL. jddaigneault
Second for donating to The First Tee. Sometimes your local golf shop will facilitate this and take care of the donation for you. Just drop off the clubs and they’ll do the rest! KurtActual
Don't forget local high school players, etc. If you use Facebook, there is a local Marketplace and Craigslist you can use to post them. sirchunksalot and J295 2 Quote Tiger is the GOAT, change my mind. Joemiper
Donate them to a youth program or First Tee! My first clubs were a set a neighbor friend of the family gave me so I could play with he and my dad (dad didn’t have $ to get me a set). I still consider getting them to be one of the biggest reasons I got into & stayed with golf. Rickp and ChitownM2
TexasFullSend
I started playing golf with a pair of hand me downs and although they weren't the greatest it still gave me a reason to go out and play golf. Besides a trade in is going to give you just a penny.
