They just absorbed SMT and I used to use their mb3 irons. Don't know a ton about the history of the company but am definitely intrigued. The thin top line is appealing to me. I would recommend these in a heartbeat. Honestly, I didn’t know about Sub 70 until this thread, but am very supportive of new golf companies that can compete with the larger corporations - and of course I’m interested in testing out new irons, since I’m currently in the market. I love the no-nonsense look at address, but they are beginning to show their age 3. I've done a fair amount of research on Sub-70. I've heard interviews with their founder, and I love their DTC approach. They were definitely in the conversation when I upgraded my 3 wood and hybrid earlier this year.
