  1. Hcp 12, Seattle area Washington.  Play 2 - 3 times /week
  2. Taylor Made P790 I fly my 8i 140145yds, usually with very little run out
  3. I've read about Sub 70 on the MGS site and looked at their clubs online.  I'm impressed by their attention to detail and openness.  I have used Arccos for a year.  Just  switching to ShotScope v3, so I keep detailed analytics.     I also have access to a Trackman for practice sessions, both indoor and outside.

  1. Handicap and Location - 6.5 Handicap @Avery Ranch Golf Club Austin, TX
  2. Current Irons and 8-iron distance - 165 yards
  3. What do you know about Sub70? - I read the Sub70 background story on their website. Founded by Jason Hiland out of Sycamore, IL. The clubs come with a 60 day 100% satisfaction guarantee. They are handcrafted custom built clubs and will include a handwritten note from the assembler along with a phone number in case of questions or concerns. A very impressive story of how they cater to the individual golfer and give that personal touch focused on quality instead of profit margins.

I would love the opportunity to review the Sub 70 699 Pro irons.

Sub70 639 MB/ 8 Iron - 168

About 7 months ago I did a ton of research on what my next irons were going to be after playing the same set of Taylormade MB's for 10 years. I spent a lot of time on here reading and looking at reviews and actual data. When I finally made the decision to give Sub70 a shot, I was nothing but impressed with the entire process. The detailed ordering process, the personal touch of confirming the order and of course the performance of the product itself. Dtc is such a brilliant idea for the golf industry and obviously works well with different products within the golf industry, especially when the product is good quality.

1. 0.9 Handicap, Canby, OR

2. Callaway x forged '14- 8 Iron- 170

3. I know that sub 70 is a direct to consumer company and they cut costs from the work of the middle men. I am curious to see if that cut in costs affect the performance and quality of their clubs. From what I've seen on social media, their clubs are eye-candy.

HCP-15, Rockford,Il

currently playing Cobra F9. I hit them decently, 8 iron is 165.

i have not heard of Sub 70, but the irons look beautiful and i am someone who loves the smaller brands. I am new to golf, i started last year with my dad who was a college golfer. Through that, we have been able to grow much closer. With finishing college this year, and the current situation of the world, the one blessing for me is getting to golf almost daily. I’ve gone from a 22 HCP to 15. I would love to try new irons since mine are nice, but i feel like they won’t support the growth i want to achieve.

i know i will not be the best golfer to try the clubs skill wise. But i play 4-5 rounds a week, go to the range, and just love golf. I also believe that having a more ‘average’ golfer demo clubs will appeal to the market as a whole. Anyone can watch a tour pro rip irons down the flag stick, but what about someone who is just like them?

thank you,

Grant Bliss

3.1 Handicap. Naples, FL

Currently playing Honma TW747v 4i-pw, Nippon N.S.PRO Modus 3 Stiff shafts. 8 iron carry is 168 yds

I've listened to a few podcasts with the owner. Going from playing taylormade to honma clubs, i've seen some more bang for my buck and better customer service. Considering going to an even smaller company with my next iron purchase

Scratch from New Jersey

Srixon Z Forged 8 iron carry is 165

Have done a little research on the irons and have considered their testing/demo program so this would be an excellent opportunity
