TESTERS ANNOUNCED! Sub 70 699 Pro Irons

Sub70 is a direct to consumer company, I know they made a hollow cavity injected iron that was ranked pretty highly in a MGS test. I actually have their cavity back on a short list when it’s time to upgrade. They also make forged wedges which I don’t see too many companies doing anymore, especially the more popular ones.

3. What do you know about Sub70? DTC company that has really been making alot of noise lately on the golf forums I follow. Lots of praise for the product and service. Been to the website many times to check them out and look at specs. They certainly make some great looking clubs. I know there is also some sort of affiliation with Hurricane Golf which I have used many times over and always been satisfied with.

2. Currently play Taylormade P760s but am looking to move back to blades. Generally hit 8 iron 165 give or take 5.

3. I know they are a better price point but haven’t gained the market space like Ben Hogan. They look like cheap PXG clubs but perform about the same, or so I’ve read.

All I know about Sub70 is that you’re a start up looking to deal directly with the consumer.  I have a few buddies who have your equipment and love them.

I have heard a little bit about Sub70 through this forum, and understand they carry a traditional look with modern feel and distance. I always enjoy new brands that are willing to take on the heavy hitters of golf equipment and would love to test out how they stack up!

3. Been drooling over these irons for 4-5 months. Love the DTC model and the fact that a small company can have technology and craftsmanship that competes with the big boys and their seemingly unlimited R&D budgets. Clean lines, gorgeous look and from everything I've read, super customer oriented. Every review I've read has been stellar and that pretty much backs up my opinion that Sub70 has found a sweet spot for golfers that are sick of paying $1200 plus for big brand clubs. You better get ready to expand your output. It would be a pleasure to take these around to local courses and show them off.
