Well, in 2019, the Sub 70 699 iron model finished sixth in the Players Distance category of Most Wanted testing. It’s probably not the best or “right” answer, but not much and I want to know significantly more. Clubmakers are pricing player irons at levels that aren’t sustainable. Companies like Sub70 are disrupting the club making industry — and I love it. Personally, I’m in the market for a new blade (but perhaps something more forgiving) and the 699’s fit the bill: they have a minimalist look from address, yet they have forgiveness which I find more desirable now. I’d be privileged to have the opportunity to test these for MyGolfSpy!

fixyurdivot 16,582
Congratulations testers! While I ended up not picking Sub70 in my downselect of various irons, ultimately yielding the G410's, I did speak directly with the owner and was REALLY IMPRESSED with his knowledge and candor. It was a Sunday afternoon when he called me back and we talked for over 30 minutes. Honestly, I think it was purely my long history with PING that tipped the decision their way, but I would not hesitate to give Sub70 products a ride in my bag. I'm looking forward to your reviews.
