SL vs SL Black Putters

Is there any difference to speak of, other than look between the Stroke Labs and the SL Black versions and the fact that the black are the newest versions? From what I've been able to find, it seems a SL double wide flow is essentially the same putter as a SL black double wide flow other than appearance (and price, of course). But, wanted to make sure I'm not missing something.

I think they firmed the faces up on the new ones? I know a lot of the forums testers felt the face was a little mushy

Bingo, the Black has a firmer insert and feels much better to me. Obviously roll them both, but that's the major difference

Yeah, I was pleased to see you guys confirm what I thought when I had a stroke lab briefly -- face was just too squishy
