dwille Posted July 21, 2020 Posted July 21, 2020 I have a set of Ping irons. I have been playing a blue dot and 1/2 inch over length. This winter i became bored, and decided to shorten my irons by a 1/2 inch. Want to know if i gained swing weight or lost swing weight, and if i put extenders back in will i gain back what ever i changed?

If you add a half inch extension you will increase swingweight. You can also change swingweight by changing the grip (different weight) Driver: G400 Max 9* w/ KBS Tour Driven Fairway: Paradym AI Smoke Max HL 16.5* w/MCA TENSEI AV Series Blue Hybrids: 915H 21* w/KBS Tour Graphite Hybrid Prototype 915H 24* w/KBS Tour Graphite Hybrid Prototype Irons: TR20V 6-11 w/Vizard TR20-85 Graphite Wedge: 54/12D, 60/8M w/Accra iWedge 90 Graphite Putter: New candidate has been ordered! As @cnosil said, the 3 swingweight points lost puts them about C7 depending on which Pings you have. If you find lighter grips, the SW will increase. “We don’t stop playing the game because we get old; we get old because we stop playing the game.”
