crope1 27
Those of you who use Arccos, do you both doing anything during a scramble tournament? I want to get as much data as possible, but I am not sure it can be used in a scramble/captains choice format whenever you may not be playing all of your shots. If there are any pros and cons, please let me know. Thanks!
WaffleHouseTour 712
I don't see the point.. you aren't playing your own ball all the time. I wouldn't use it because it will play havoc with your stats, make you look like a much better player than you may be. In a scramble your time likely always has one ball in the fairway... do you? Your team should always hit the green... do you? Well, if you use during a scramble you'll have the round of your life, or at least Arccos will think so. I just leave if off during a scramble. Schlacky 3
When I play any “alt format” I sync up the course so I get yardages and club recommendations but keep shot tracking off. Another option is to use it to track like normal and post round edit it to not be include in your stats. It’s kinda fun to see the stats of you and your partner(s) but I wouldn’t want it included in my stats! seancca 6
Yeah I have used it in a scramble/tournament format but just to keep track of our round another way and then just remove it from stats. TR1PTIK 3,492
If you want to collect data on the shots you hit, I guess you could, but aside from collecting a tiny bit of distance data I don't see the point. There is very little to be gained from looking back at a scramble round to determine how you would play a hole or could possibly improve.
