fixyurdivot
And the PGA Tour (wheel) turns. Another week, another no patrons event... when the world dishes out lemons, you make lemonade. A bit of a lackluster field IMO... what's up with that? Did The Memorial hurt some feelings? I've got Rafa, Harman, and Piercy in the FTx... that should get my trajectory moving back toward Tin Cup winner. https://www.pgatour.com/tournaments/3m-open.html https://www.pgatour.com/tournaments/3m-open/field.html Who ya picking? Depends if he is very upset with his weekend performance last week and gets focused, or if he's deflated and falls off the earth. Like last year, the winner could be a relatively new face. Will Gordon impressed me last week. fixyurdivot 1 Quote “We don’t stop playing the game because we get old; we get old because we stop playing the game.”
FrogginBullfish
Finau will have a new face on the bag this week for the first time in his professional career as he's split from his long-time caddie, Greg Bodine. Mtbryant01
The 9th hole was giving people fits today and deservedly so. It was playing as a 512 yard par 4 with water all down the right side. The green has a portion that extends of water and that’s of course where the pin was today. The scoring average was 4.53 and had 17 double bogies or worst. Only 8 birdies out of 155 people! Other than hole 9, lots of birdies. Honestly, I'm not sure I'd enjoy the game if it was that easy... though I'd like a taste of it a few times . 11 hours ago, Slater said: Also, Pat Perez looks like a pirate. Yes, good point. But, the Friday afternoon departures a good many of them have been having of late might suggest more live play is needed. aerospace_ray
What about the seven wood, yes a seven wood in Michael Thompson's bag? He hit absolute beauty with it on hole #12 today (I think it was that hole, where it got Faldo's attention). High arrow straight and held the green. Wish my seven wood shots would do that...
