Recommended Posts

Rick / Zionsville, Indiana

Ping Glide 46, 50, 56, 60

Would love a 60 - it's my fav club in my bag and need to get a new one soon. Would be good to compare results vs Ping - they've been solid.

PXG Gen 2 0811XF, Cobra F9 3-7W, Srixon 585 6 - PW, Ping Glide 46, 50, 56, 60, Scotty Phantom 7.5

John / Tampa, FL

Currently gaming SM6 wedges

Would try the wedge in a 52 loft (LH), allowing full & mid swings from the fairway as well as lots of green side creativity.

54* Titleist SM6 , 60* ROTEX 2.0 RTG Cleveland, 64* Taylormade hi-toe

I’d be a great candidate for either a 58* or 60*. I recently went back to my 60* ROTEX RTG despite it having little to no grooves left because I simply hated my Titleist SM7 60*. Being in the PNW, turf conditions can change drastically day to day/week to week. Versatility is so important unless you have the ability to stock your locker with every combination of bounce and grind. I need something that allows me the ability to play shots from both tight lies and wet turf.

Zip-a Dee-Doo-Dah, Zip-e-Dee-ay. My, oh what a wonderful day. Plenty of Zip Core wedges headed our way. Zip-a-dee-doo-dah, zip-e-dee-ay!

Please excuse the obvious song parody from such a classic movie. But that’s exactly how you may feel if you are selected as one of the nine testers for Cleveland Golf’s new Zip Core wedges.

These wedges have a lot of technology going on besides the two extra grooves Cleveland has placed on the face.  So yes, you will get more spin, but also more consistency.
