Like what I will call the Army bag if you don't mind. Bandolier clips are the best thing invented after duct tape 'wire ties and bungee cords

As an Army Combat Engineer who loved everything we got to play with, build and destroy, you know exactly how to turn a phrase to your advantage!

The lucky worked because I wanted some sort of American flag theme and the shamrocks are perfect. My nieces and nephews call me “uncle shark” (one is them says “auntie” but he’s my godson so I’ll let it slide) so putter cover shark just couldn’t pass up.

Your godson is a keeper!  Love that sassy attitude in the young ones, means they are tough inside and ready to learn as much as they can, and they don't crumple when you give them push-back.  I'm usually accused of encouraging them lol  and best part is you already have a song to work with 🦈

I am a little different from you guys but then again I do things out side the box as SOP. My main bag is an old school Burton non logo mini staff. It is real leather and sans logos which is ok by me. I gave $10 for it at Goodwill. My other main bag is a Jones Original non stand which is tough. I was using an original Ping Hoofer which was another Goodwill find but the cart guys tend to choke the living schmidtt out of it. My walking bag is an old nylon Vagabond which easyputter will like since it is Army OD green another Goodwill find. My vintage bag sometimes is a Mini Staff green and white Macgregor. Lots of times I throw the vintage stuff in the Jones. I will admit I am a bag ho too and if I see one at Goodwill I like I will grab it

Totally cool stuff at the Goodwill bargain golf outlet as they often get experienced bags and such that miss the roadside supply dealers.  If you get a chance to add some photos I would like to see your beauties with their battle scars.  New is nice but used has added detail enhancements from doing what it was intended to do, would rather have a vintage functioning piece in hand than something that sparkles mounted on an untouchable display.

I bought a Big Max Aqua cart bag last year. Previously had a Ping Traverse. The Traverse is a great bag, but I wanted something waterproof. After a bit of research, decided on the Big Max. It has filled the bill perfectly. Plenty of storage, waterproof, easy to clean, fits snugly on my pushcart, and looks great. I've been caught in a number of late afternoon showers here in NC, and the Big Max has performed exactly as advertised.

OFF Topic again SOP with me---- I see you are just the road from me in Emerald Isle NC--- I also see Greenville NC all my step mom's folks are from there and I spent a fair amount of time there growing up in the area. Allen Road out on the West side is named after my Grand Dad. In my younger days I played some at Greenville Golf and Country Club and a few times over at Brook Valley

Had been using a 4.5 stand bag with 14 way dividers.  Bag is still in great shape and barely showing any wear.

When I decided to use an electric cart this year I purchased a C-130.  Had good experience with Sun Mountain quality so stayed with the brand.  Just wish the cooler pocket was a little larger.

The cooler pocket a little larger, little bit pleated to hold objects without taking up space in the larger pocket it is attached to, and better insulation to keep the contents from heating up in the sunshine like it's an oven.  Otherwise it is a sensational bag.  I carry a small cooler bag (blue thing under the push cart handle) with ice block to keep granola bars with chocolate in them, and "sparkling water" cold. Photo also shows a way I found to hang "stuff" from the accessory tabs.

I believe I’m on my 4th season with my C130. I tried out Datrek before and had problems. I went through 3 bags and had issues with every one of them. They rectified every issue I had, so I can’t complain but just didn’t want to deal with them anymore.

No regrets on my Sun Mountain purchase. Since I’m dialed in on everything else, I’m thinking of buying a newer model.

A story to add on the Burton bag. I saw it in Goodwill one night and it was pristine looked like it had never been on a course. I checked and all the zippers worked fine. Now it did not have a rain hood but no problem for me since I have several universal clear ones. Bought it for $10. The only thing I did do to it was take the center divider out and make it a 3 way instead of a 6 way. I prefer a 3 way and that is just me. It does have embroidery on the big ball pocket on the back featuring The Reserve Club which is an exclusive private club at Pawleys Island SC. I had it for a while and played down at Tradition Club in Pawleys. A couple of older guys noticed the bag and asked if I was a member? I told them no that I bought the bag at Goodwill. I was fearing some kind of mess with those 2 old codgers. Well they told me that those were members bags given out around 01 or so. They started discussing whose bag it might have been. I asked if there was a problem thinking in the back of my mind if so I would sell for $100 or so. No problem said the guys they thought the member would be proud that someone had put it to good use. According to who they thought it was that the winter they got those bags that member had passed and since then the wife had passed away. They were glad someone had rescued and was using the bag. The older one chuckled and said time it wore out I would be as old as he was.

You would have to been around when I first got hurt. I was basically manic depressive and wondering if I would play again. I have gotten over all of that and am looking forward to playing again. Anyhow I had a Rocket Red White and Blue head cover on the 4 wood that my wife thought looked good on that bag. I had gotten it somewhere in my trades etc. She ordered me a brand new set of covers for that bag. I laughed and told her for the first time in 40 years when I went back out I would have matching covers.

I walk any time I can - probably more than I should on some of these hilly courses in the heat, but what the heck.... anyhow I would be going along fine and then my bag would start slipping and spinning on my push cart. Drove me crazy. I tried some 'hacks' to stop it but nothing worked.

So I hunted for a new bag.
The sun mountain C130 cart bag has something that is one of the best additions to a bag I've ever used.
sunmtn.jpg

These straps here prevent the bag from spinning and rotating and work like magic. 🤩

Now I'm a happy walker.

It's hard to see if you run the cart top strap through to use the Smart Strap System straps as anti-rotation, I know you wrote that but black on black it is somewhat hard to see even in the sunshine of your most excellent photo!  Great color coordination of your rig! I found one of mine I'm including that with the color really stands out and I agree, the twisting of previous bags made that feature one of the must haves that sold me on the C130.

Yep - I do just like you do and use the smart straps on the top cart strap. So I've got a horizontal wrap (from the cart) and 2 vertical wraps (from the bag).

I go up and down hills and over bumps and the bag stays locked in tight!

BTW: that's a sweet clicgear! Really like your phone holder also. Nicely done!

My primary gamer is a 6 year old Ogio Chamber Silencer (stock picture) cart bag. It has served me well and still use it on my push cart even though the red color has faded a bit. The reason I purchased this bag was because back then I wanted to protect my clubs from dings and hated the chatter also hated using iron covers. It has slots on the bottom of the bag that grabs a hold of your grip so your club doesn't move around. Great bag with a lot of pockets for couple of drinks and accessories. 6 years forward and with wear and tear, the slots on the bottom have loosened so some of my clubs rotate and doesn't stay secured.

My second gamer is the Vessel/ My Golf Spy colab carry bag (picture of actual bag when first purchased) from a few years back. Purchased it when it first came out and it is a beautiful bag. I use it when I play 9 holes or when I feel like carrying versus pushing a cart.Screenshot_20200804-135551_DuckDuckGo.jpegScreenshot_20200804-140019_Gallery.jpeg

I bought a PING Hoofer Lite this season.  I've found that over 20+ years, they don't break, they don't fall apart.  I've replaced my first L8 with my college L8 and as a club pro, my boss had me replace that with a JBag which I still own from 2004.  The lite has just enough storage and the shoulder straps are well-engineered.  I wouldn't be surprised to see this last me another ten years.

I have a Ping cart bag and I chose it because I won it an a raffle during our Senior's banquet several years back.  The price was right.

Bennington Organizer 14 Lite (Euro). Love the way it holds the clubs so that they do not touch - save having to take covers on and off. Also they make two versions, normal is for a Cart, Euro is for a Buggy. They simply turn the top 180*. Only thing is that they do not have a cooler pocket but that was easily fixed by buying a wine bottle cooler and a bit if sewing.53992598-0.jpg53992598-1.jpg
