I've made a small adjustment to it after seeing someone else's bag that I think works better for carry, pushcart. Driver and woods on the left, putter on top, and the rest arranged like normal. It works really well. Playing wise, I'm in the Valley and near Sepulveda basin so I play Woodley, Encino, Balboa, and Hansen dam a lot. I try to get out to Rustic Canyon every chance I get, but if I'm lucky that's once every couple months. Yourself? I’m just north of you Santa Clarita. Rotation lately is River Ridge, Sterling Hills, Tierra Rejada in Ventura County. Sand Canyon in SCV and and Rancho Vista in Palmdale. It’s tough getting tee times in 2021 and I’m betting even tougher when daylight savings ends. Played Hansen, Wilson/Harding, Balboa/Encino and Woodley a bunch back when I was working in the valley. Rustic is awesome but haven’t been able to get a good weekend tee time all spring & summer. Lefty19 34
I use a BagBoy Revolver XP Cart Bag but is the last model that doesn't protect the putter as much on the outside. I got it for a cheap song, like it and need to get a smaller grip for the putter to fit right... haha. Haven't had one issue and like that it locks my forged in place and see if anything is missing. I really like it as I don't have to reach and just spin it around to whatever club(s) I need. The newer version has wider inserts for the irons so you shouldn't have to worry about oversized grips. The older version like mine, those jumbo grips might not work. Mdrnsamurai 47
I game the Srixon Z SRX LTWT Stand Bag in Grey/Blue. It's super light, has really comfortable straps and just the correct amount of pockets to keep you out of trouble. It adjusts to the correct carry angle so it's a really easy and reliable carry. Also the legs work really well without issue. RichL85 582
Managed to pick up a practically new Callaway Fairway 14 stand bag off FB marketplace for $100. I was actually holding out for a Sun Mountain, but couldn't pass up the price on this one. Really enjoying the full length dividers compared to the tangled mess I was dealing with. Guy just wanted to get rid of it because he switched to Taylormade irons. Good thing I still have Callaway wedges. 1 Quote Driver: Srixon Z565, Miyazaki Kaula Mizu 3 Wood: Snake Eyes Viper Tour, Aldila NV Hybrids: Snake Eyes Viper Tour 18 and 24 deg, Aldila NV Irons: Srixon I-701 5-PW, Nippon Modus3 Tour 120 Wedges: Callaway X-Forged 50, 54, and 58, Nippon Modus3 Wedge 115 Putter: Yes! Rich Noggins 1
I have a Ping Hoofer that I bought 2 years ago for a preview round at Sheep Ranch about a week before they opened to the public with some broken tee guys at Bandon Dunes to take it easy on our caddy. I had a huge cart bag that rotated the clubs if you wanted. I love that bag except for 2 things, 1) no outside putter holder and I’m still perfecting that flaw & 2) pockets are at a premium. warbirdlover 40
I have had a C-130 three years. Only complaint is the stitching at the bottom of the dividers has gone south and now my clubs jam up in the bottom like a bag without dividrs. Next bag will be a TM or something. Bassbeamer 7
I purchase this Sun Mountain H2NO waterproof cart bag. Very light for a cart bag 5.2. 14 clubs. Nice putter slot. It is a dark green color with black and light green zipper highlights. Plenty of pockets. I mostly ride in cart these days so I like this cart bag. I owned a Sun Mountain bag previously for close to 10 years. These bags hold up. 1 Quote Bassbeamer
Dog Faced Pony Soldier 30
For now at least; I use Ogio bags. This is my riding cart bag. I like it mostly because of the separate putter well. Another huge reason is the cant/tilt of the top is the proper orientation for a riding cart. This is exactly why I have a separate bag I use for my push cart. Detailing the way I mount my Clicgear rangefinder bag when riding using a Nite Ize S Binder. This way I just transfer the entire Clicgear bag to whatever golf bag I’m using that day. Also added my name to help new playing partners remember. The two internal compartments mentioned above are 2" shorter and pretty much useless. As you can see in the pictures there is no room for any additional items. If I put the wedges in the two internal compartments they stick up 2” higher than the 7 and P and if you put a putter in it takes up even more room. In fact i know longer carry 4 wedges as when i added my new cobra stingray putter there was really not allot of room left and everything I took it out I need to remove the LW to do so. As of recently, I don't put them on anything anymore. Metals, putters, anything, even brand new. They're a good idea if you don't like superficial scratches and scrapes, but I've just lost patience with them. I can overlook the blemishes, and I don't sell my old gear anyway. I collect it, scratches and all. .
