dlow206
Came across this study that shows gains in distance by using Creatine. During the study, there was no workout program added or anything like that. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4308854/ Quote Follow my golf journey to break into the 80s Tester for the Titleist TSi Driver Spring 2020 MGS Tester for the Fujikura Motore X Shaft Updated 07/15/2022 Driver: Rogue St Max LS - Autoflex Fairway Woods: Rogue Max St 3HL and 7 Wood Irons: JPX 921 Hot Metal 5 to AW - Aerotech Steelfiber i95 Stiff parallel tip Wedges: Glide 4.0 54 and 58 Putter: PLD Custom Kushin
Blueberry_Squishie
Plenty of caveats in the study, so I wouldn't go all in on creatine boosting driving distance: The StrongDrive dosed group had doses of creatine monohydrate, coffea arabica fruit extract, calcium fructoborate, and vitamin D. It's not possible to study the influence creatine monohydrate has in this study. Driving distances went up, however, clubhead speed and ball speed did not change (to a significant amount; dosed clubhead speed dropped). There appears to be something wrong with their experiment design or how the distance tracking was done; unless supplementation can increase launch angle or decrease spin.
