sirchunksalot
I meant to reply to this earlier, but I really like the set-up you have there. Love the CBX2 wedges and the red and black grips. The Golf Pride multi-compound grip is one of my favorites. Lacassem
Lacassem
Might be changing wedges. I eluded to it in the how’d you play today. Idk if my swing has changed a little and I’m not digging as much? But sand used to be a strong part of my game and I can’t get out of a green side bunker and lots of misfits. Going to try some SM7s on my round tomorrow and see what happens. thank you though I do love these grips and the 3W is fantastic sirchunksalot and GolfSpy BOS 2 Quote Check out my reviews: G710 Irons Official Review I MC Shaft & V Series Putter Official Review 2022 Forged Tec's Official Review I Nitron Push Cart Official Review WITB: Weapons of grass destruction (link to WITB) Traverse is filled with all this shiny metal and tracked by RadSpeed 8* - MotoreX F1 6X SIM 3W - Project X HZRDUS Green U505 Driving Iron 17* - Project X HZRDUS Black SpeedZone 4H - Project X HZRDUS Black 2022 King Forged Tec's 4-PW - KBS $ Tape 130 48 (SM8), 52 & 60 (SM7) - Nippon Modus 125 S ER2VI PROV1X #19 Are you a veteran? Popular Post Lacassem
Update for 2023! Bag has changed alot in a few years. This year coming into the season with the below and most likely will not me changing much. My driver is pretty pure, struggled end of the year last year but its been extremely dependable. 3Wood again is very dependable, very different than the driver which is a baby fade, the 3Wood is the exact opposite and I do not lose much length which plays really well on different shapes off the tee and is very viable off the deck going at a par 5. I have the 2 driving iron which is new at the end of last year. So far it has been a dependable club, very straight and is a rocket. The 4H and 4I are interchangeable depending on what the course is like and what wind is like. I prefer the hybrid but of late last year preferred the iron. Will be diving deep into the Cobra irons this year and look forward to getting the review out there after a few rounds. My trusty wedges are staying 48/52/60 SM8 and 7's. Lastly the lovely EVNROLL putter is a firm bag spot, not going anywhere! Keep your eyes out for the Cobra review if you're interested, cant wait to get some rounds in and do justice to Cobra. cnosil, sirchunksalot, BobBC78 and 8 others 8 3 Quote Check out my reviews: G710 Irons Official Review I MC Shaft & V Series Putter Official Review 2022 Forged Tec's Official Review I Nitron Push Cart Official Review WITB: Weapons of grass destruction (link to WITB) Traverse is filled with all this shiny metal and tracked by RadSpeed 8* - MotoreX F1 6X SIM 3W - Project X HZRDUS Green U505 Driving Iron 17* - Project X HZRDUS Black SpeedZone 4H - Project X HZRDUS Black 2022 King Forged Tec's 4-PW - KBS $ Tape 130 48 (SM8), 52 & 60 (SM7) - Nippon Modus 125 S ER2VI PROV1X #19 Are you a veteran? Lacassem
With the way the 4 iron has been playing the hybrid officially has a long term position in the basement right now. Driving iron has fit fantastically in the gap I needed it to. 3Wood is coming in per arccos 240-250 and the driving iron at 220-230 then 4 iron at 190-210, enough gap in between where if I needed to hit a specific number I could ease up on the driving iron. sirchunksalot and KC Golf 2 Quote Check out my reviews: G710 Irons Official Review I MC Shaft & V Series Putter Official Review 2022 Forged Tec's Official Review I Nitron Push Cart Official Review WITB: Weapons of grass destruction (link to WITB) Traverse is filled with all this shiny metal and tracked by RadSpeed 8* - MotoreX F1 6X SIM 3W - Project X HZRDUS Green U505 Driving Iron 17* - Project X HZRDUS Black SpeedZone 4H - Project X HZRDUS Black 2022 King Forged Tec's 4-PW - KBS $ Tape 130 48 (SM8), 52 & 60 (SM7) - Nippon Modus 125 S ER2VI PROV1X #19 Are you a veteran? Saw your shot of the day and recall some back and forth in the past so I was interested in the bag. I was just commenting today on a recent bag change - shift from P790s to the Gen6 0311s which included the Sugar Daddy wedges when I got set up with 3-PW; as much as I like them, I find myself going back and forth on that decision. I have been playing the Mizuno T20s (blue) for a few years and I picked up a set of T22s (50* & 56* in the blue ion again - the color) right before I got converted, can I get an "Amen" . After playing with the T22s today I am back to questioning myself and am hard pressed to not buy another set of the T22s to - replace, swap in on occasion with, take turns with - the SD2s. Don't get me wrong, the SD2s are sweet wedges and have a great feel, but I do things with the Mizzys' that is probably illegal in some states. Anyway, the long winded bottom line is, the Mizuno T series wedges are and if you are every back on the fence over wedges I sincerely suggest checking them out. To clarify on the "Bag change," I am keeping the 790s and putting them in a bag on the east coast (ZX7, M3 3W, P790 3-PW, T22 50/56*, Evnroll ER2-silver) and the Gen6 irons will be my primary WITB (G400, Gen6 3W, 0311 Gen6 3-PW, Sugar Daddy 50/56*, Evnroll ER2-black).
