Rattling in my hybrid

I was playing golf today, and I pulled out my 5 hybrid for a shot. When I pulled it out of my bag, there was a rattle in the shaft. I have a graphite shaft in the hybrid. I was wondering what the sound could be. Did a weight come loose or is the shaft breaking. I’m pretty gentle with my clubs. I don’t beat them into the ground in anger.

Most modern clubs have adapters to fit into the head so there is t anything from the head Based on what you are describing I would guess a piece of epoxy broke loose and is in your shaft. If it is that bothersome,Remove the grip and remove the object causing the rattle.

Thanks for replying. Im glad it isn’t the shaft. They club is about 4 years old. It doesn’t bother me.  I just heard it when I pulled the club out of my bag. I will check when I regrip the club.
