jamo
48 inch, ridiculously stiff white House of Forged brand shaft, Adams driver head (can't remember if it was the Fast10 or the Speedline 9032LS) with 6.5* of loft, but I gained about 10 yards! I tried it today at the Boston Golf Expo's Adams station. It was so weird, like swinging a shovel because it was so long. Anyone else seen one of these? Matt Saternus
was it in play, or 10 yards more in the gunch?? Between gunch and DIAF, this forum is teaching me things left and right. Back on topic, while I think it's cool that Adams is making these available, how many people can come close to hitting this monster? If I was playing on super baked-out fairways that would roll forever, MAYBE this would work, but I can't believe that I would carry this thing very far at all. And at 48", I think all of life would be in play for me, in both directions. Follow me on Twitter: @MattSaternus

I personally have given up on longdrive and now play a driver a normal human would use lol. We have a couple of long drivers who come to the range in the evening, after the back side of the range has closed. The first time I saw that it was stunning. Talked to one guy for a while. Said that he loves when the range replaces the balls for the year because they are round then. After the long drive guys hit them, they are not totally round anymore. Didn't check this first hand, but these dudes were monsters and I really didn't doubt them... txgolfjunkie
I saw a story on him and he plays golf right handed and plays hockey left handed. Thus, both of his wrists are incredibly strong and flexible. He has a huge advantage in hinging his wrists and building some insane club speed. Dude is maybe a buck fifty, soaking wet. MmmmmmBuddy
Those #'s are just freakish. We had a Cobra LD guy out at our range a few years ago. It is 265 to the back end of our range, and there is a 40 foot high fence out there. I would say that about once a week, when the wind is right, we get a guy who can carry the back net. Cobra guy was flying it all day long into a headwind!!!! I was thunderstruck. I couldn't believe how far this guy hit the freakin ball. Addicted2Golf
Sadlowski is incredibly flexible and obviously gets huge amount of lag in his swing to generate those kind of numbers at his size. Couple that with loads of eye/hand coordination to put the club face back on the ball. Freakish indeed. I tried it today at the Boston Golf Expo's Adams station. It was so weird, like swinging a shovel because it was so long. Anyone else seen one of these? It's actually a 9032LD, not an LS. The LD model is made for the Long Drive guys and has a thicker face to deal with the extreme abuse those guys dish out. Matt Saternus
Even if I knew, objectively, that my ball speed could shatter plywood, I would be very jumpy about doing it.
