I used to get real nervous golfing in front of people that I don’t know. For the first four holes I was actually playing well, then I 4 putted on a very hard hole location and I felt my confidence shatter. I had a disastrous rest of the round. My biggest golf achievement in my opinion was that I came back for day two. I didn’t finish last, because there were people that DNF. I use this story to teach my kids. No matter how tough it gets, to never give up and never quit. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy I finished dead last, two years in a row, for our city championship, 2012 and 2013. I won both of them. And when I won the 17 and under division during our league championship we always would throw $20 into a pot to cover kp's, long drive, low net, and low putts. When I won I won the division and about $240 cash, the only one I didn't win was kp.... miss that league.. lol.. Lacassem 9,399
This ones tough because I have not played in anything crazy, no club championships or big tournaments. i will say either A) in a short period.(have not been playing golf very long) got into single digit handicap and getting lower every year. Or B) this just happened after realizing I had a negative attack with driver which took a significant distance away from me. I hit 338 off the tee the other day, PB and am consistently close or over 300. WaffleHouseTour 391
While my lowest round is a 76, and I had a 78 this summer to go with a handful of 79s, this last week I shot an 80 and it felt like my best round ever. Mammoth Dunes in Wisconsin. A fantastic David Mclay Kidd track. It was my first time there and I had a Vulcan mind meld with my caddie. Dropped in three birdies among five one putts. Tells you there were a couple big numbers too. But walking up the 18th I finally added up my score ( actually going 17 holes without focusing on my score may actually be my biggest accomplishment...) and thought I needed a par ro shoot 79. Well, I got my par, but it wasn’t until the first bumps and congratulations were over that I realized it was a par 73, not a 72. I’d shot 7 over to shoot 80. First 80 I’m not disappointed by. I’ll be reveling in this one for a while. 4 Quote Walking ahead of my BagBoy QuadXL w Alphard eWheels Driver: Callaway Mavrik SubZero 9* Neutral w stock Evenflow Riptide R flex shaft 3W Titelist TS2 15* Draw w Tensei Blue R flex 3H, 4H Cobra One Length F9 Speedback hybrids (1”short) w Fujikura Atmos R flex shaft 5I-GW Cobra Forged TEC Black One Length (1”short, 2* flat) KBS 90 R flex shafts 56, 60 Cobra King MIM One Length Black (1” short) KBS HiRev2.0 125 S flex shafts ER7 or Scotty Futura X - 35” OnCore Elixr (lemon or lime) Link to post

Jhigdon13 43
Biggest accomplishment in golf for me is definitely shooting under par once. Never had a swing lesson but I’ve been around golf courses my whole life and taught myself the swing. At the time I was playing a lot of golf and shot a 70 for a -1. Felt pretty damn good! Haha Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy 3 Quote Link to post
bighairydel 13
Biggest for me is today finally getting to single figures on my handicap. Chuffed to bits, still got a long way to go but finally seeing decent results for my efforts 2 Quote Link to post
Larryd3 161
For me it's all the rounds I played with my Dad. He's long gone now but looking back, I wish I'd have played more with him. Unfortunately my kids when they were younger had no interest in the game so didn't get to share that with them. Last year, I holed out for eagle on a par 4 in an interclub championship, that I wasn't even signed up for, but filled in for somebody that couldn't make it. Won the match. 2 Quote TM M4 EPIC 15* Sub70 hybids Titleist T200 5-GW Vokey SM8 54 Vokey SM8 58 PXG Operator H Link to post

Siamese Moose 363
Almost 20 years ago my wife and I showed up for a round and were informed that the course screwed up our tee time, they had booked an outing, and we could only play 9. So we did. On the 7th tee I was 4 over. 7 is a very short straight par 5, and I made eagle. 8 is a slight dogleg par 4, and I birdied. 9 is another par 5. I hit two more good shots, and was on in 2 at about 12 feet. The entire outing was lined up in carts behind me in the parking lot, and apparently word got out that someone knew I was putting for eagle. When I made it I about jumped out of my skin when the entire outing exploded in cheers. I went 5 under the last 3 holes for my only 9 holes under par. 2 Quote Moose, my cat, is Siamese Link to post
