Binged the latest season of Shameless over the past two days. It was a decent distraction from thinking about the new 770s. Now I'm right back on the hype train for them, lol

Me neither but I have soft hands and not afraid to do some weird stuff for extra cash

Their combo set chart is pretty nice, I like that they provide you with the loft adjustments so you don't need to think as much

Just think of the three sets as costing the same as one PXG set (at the prior PXG prices before the recent discounts).

Yep, just helping to try to justify why its okay to buy 3 Taylormade sets, because it costs about the same as 1 PXG set.

haha. I get it. I could never justify three sets of clubs. Just not in my DNA. I can only play one. I am not much of a club hoarder either. I dumb stuff I am not using.

Just sell some of those shoes from the shoe collection and you will have enough money to buy multiple sets

I had a chance to hit the 770 7-iron today and was pleasantly surprised with how it felt.  I did not care for the feel of the 790s and the 770s definitely fixed that problem.  My only complaint would be even with a 130g shaft, the head still felt kinda heavy. 

 

If i didn't just buy T100s/T200s I would have considered the 770s

Man oh man, these new irons look really sharp.  I definitely both need and don't need to go through an iron fitting.  To be honest, the idea of a blended set doesn't always pop into my head at first, but these new series look like that is their purpose.  It's nice to see that even the 770s aren't loft jacked.  Granted, if I went through a fitting and the data showed that loft jacked irons were the only thing that would work me, I could suck it up and re-learn distances. 

The thing I am most curious about is the obvious milling on the faces of the irons.  The other obsession besides loft jacked irons these days seems to be really low spin long irons that produce a lot of rollout.  I have to wonder if the milling on the long irons actually increases back spin or if it is just cosmetic.
