PING G410 hybrid delivery time is LOOOOOOONG

I ordered a PING 17* hybrid with their Tour 85 shaft 8 weeks ago and I still don't have it. Ordered a 3 wood at the same time and it came a couple of weeks ago. Not remotely close to the 3-4 week delivery time they expected.

Anyone else experiencing this issue?

Took 6 weeks to get a putter from PXG. Was quoted 1 to 2 weeks which I knew was bogus.

Everyone has delays. It just is what it is. Lots of supply chain issues, and I can speak from personal experience that shippers are having a lot of delays and problems.

My wife just got her 410 driver. It took about 3 weeks and was a fairly standard setup with an Alta shaft. I would imagine that some shafts might create longer delays.

My neighbor manages a local PGASS. He told me two weeks ago when I wanted to order a set of g410 irons for my nephew that PING had just informed them they now have an 8-10 week backlog on custom orders. I’m not sure about stock orders, but that can’t be much different, as I’d assume that’s been depleted.

I ordered a set of G710's 4-PW with Aerotech Steel Fiber shafts on 7/6 and the arrived 8/11 which had me surprised with the COVID BS and all but I'm very pleased with PING and how fast they arrived. I hope everyone else doesn't switch brands as PING is worth the wait.

Apparently there was a problem getting the PING Tour 85 shaft. Now the shaft is available but they ran out of 17* hybrid heads. Expected production date is Oct 1 which means I likely wouldn't see it until the end of October.

So I've cancelled the order as I won't see it until the golf season is done. Sucks as I was excited about getting fitted and getting the club in the bag.

Will likely watch ebay for a used version or get it in the spring when the price has dropped or see if the 425 is measurably better.

Not cool PING. Not cool.

G410's are now taking 12 weeks (G425's will be released by then).  Ping does not "stock" anything at their facility.  Everything including "standard offerings" are built.

Still waiting on G710 irons. From what I’m told (again) that the holdup is the Recoil Shafts. I’m not a fan of the Alta offering.
I either cancel or continue waiting . I’ll give it till 11/1 to decide.

Welll, got a call today to “come on down” and pick out the grips gettem assembled and get out there.
Will pick them up sometime tomorrow and will post a couple pix.
Really interested in how the Recoils work w this club!

I was quoted 6-8 weeks for a Ping Sigma 2 Arna. I wanted the loft adjusted so it bumped it to custom. Stock Arna was 4-6 weeks but the slight adjustment will add two weeks. I just decided to go with the pre-owned route and got it in 3 days from online retailer.

I was quoted 8-9 weeks for a G410 Plus driver with an upcharge shaft (Aldila), but it arrived in 17 days. Looks like I got lucky on having parts in stock.

Actually someone who would know, told me that custom orders get actually hand picked and get out a bit faster than stock orders.

Also had a conversation w someone in the industry and there’s a big shortage of MCC grips. There are a big hit w customers and Golf Pride got swamped w orders .

Yep. I had to change the request for that grip on my TSI.

I retired this summer and gave myself a new set of sticks to start this new chapter off right.  Got fitted and ordered Ping G410 driver and woods, G710 irons and glide 3 wedges.  Ordered on August 28th.  Received the wedges and woods at 6 weeks and irons at 12 weeks.   Ping’s initial and continual reply to information was it will be two weeks — delays are due to COVID, California fires, and Chinese shipping restrictions or whatever made the news that week.  Only reliable info out of Ping was a shipping statement with tracking info.  That was my experience, hope yours is better.

Feel your pain as my G710 irons took forever. Reason given was LH and Recoil Shafts.
Did you order through a Golf Shop? If you did can they call Ping or local Rep and put some pressure on them.
Hope you get them quickly!

Order clubs in early July 2021.  New quote is October-November 2021. The question is will I see them before Christmas.
