Whether it is ideally suited for me I have know idea... yet. I am the same height but I use a 34.75" putter. as they say different strokes for different folks . Best way is to get on a SAM or Quintec and a good fitter will be able to tell you the length. However I would say most people are using putters that are to long I will be doing a full bag fitting this winter while in AZ. Still debating between True Spec, Club Champion and possibly 2nd Swing (Scottsdale). It will be interesting to see what the putter fitting shows. My current putter fitting involved me walking into a pro shop, in 1987, with a $50 voucher from a company tournament, putting with a handful of models, and throwing it in the bag. Good chance it's not the optimal putter . Regarding club lengths, I'm reading more and more discussions that shaft lengths on all clubs are too long... and this has been the byproduct of both OEM's and fitters adopting the longer shaft = longer distance tenant. Many are saying that even new "standard" length are too long and this trend has made it more difficult for users to make consistent/accurate strikes. My fitter made a last minute decision/recommendation to go to a +1 inch (from +1/2) on my G410's. He said the added length was getting my strikes more to center (from toe). PING's static measurement fitting graph has me solidly in the +1/2 which is what my PE2's were. Now having played them for just over a year, I'm thinking the length is making my 4i and 5i strike proficiency challenging. Seems to me all club fittings should include a long iron - as I suspect this would have shown the +1 no bueno. Buffly
Irons are comfortable at 1" over length but, I play a 34" putter and grip about 2-3" down from the end of the grip because I like my left arm nearly straight. I am 5'11" with a wrist to floor of 38" which is about 4" more than normal for my height. If I want to stand like Rickie Fowler then a 35" putter seems just fine holding the end of the grip but, that's not my style. fixyurdivot 1 Quote Golf is simple - people are complicated. 5w Taylormade SLDR S 19* - 220yd, Ping G2 5-U - 190-105, Maltby M+ 54* & MG 60* - 95-75, Evnroll ER8, Titleist 816 H1 4h 21*, Maltby 4 Hybrid Iron 24* - 210-200, Callaway XR16 8* - 235 carry
