Didn't realize we are about the same height. What is your wrist to floor?

I want to say that was right around 32.5 too. I’ll have to check.

The problem with the idea of using height to determine putter length is the length of your arms will have a huge impact.  Regardless of height some people will have shorter or longer than average arms

6'2" | 35-1/2"... how about you?  Have you tested various lengths?  Do you just follow the generally accepted rule of thumb regarding physical height and length?  I won my putter decades ago at a

6'0" and for years I used a 32" putter. After my Ping fitting 3 years ago, I am using an 34" counterbalanced Ping putter that has a 15" grip and I grip it near the bottom of the grip.

5'8" use a 33" putter and still grip it all the way down the end of the grip.

Best I can tell I'm 5'11" and putter is 34 3/4 but it was the first one that felt right and I really like one putting with it when I get the speed right.  I see a lot of Pinemeadow putters around but not another one like my Z-ON M1

6'2" 35" putter. I've used both 34" and 35" putters through the years, but 35" seems to give me the best eye line.

Have you tested various lengths?  Do you just follow the generally accepted rule of thumb regarding physical height and length?  I won my putter decades ago at a company tournament.  It was a gift certificate to the pro shop and I dabbled with a few before choosing the B61.  As it turns out, it's the right length (or very close) for my height based on the rule of thumb.  Whether it is ideally suited for me I have know idea... yet.

I am the same height but I use a 34.75" putter. as they say different strokes for different folks 😄 . Best way is to get on a SAM or Quintec and a good fitter will be able to tell you the length. However I would say most people are using putters that are to long

i was using a 36” before i got fit. my fitter showed me how i was crowding myself with the putter and hunching over to compensate.

I will be doing a full bag fitting this winter while in AZ.  Still debating between True Spec, Club Champion and possibly 2nd Swing (Scottsdale).  It will be interesting to see what the putter fitting shows.  My current putter fitting involved me walking into a pro shop, in 1987, with a $50 voucher from a company tournament, putting with a handful of models, and throwing it in the bag.  Good chance it's not the optimal putter 🤪.

Regarding club lengths, I'm reading more and more discussions that shaft lengths on all clubs are too long... and this has been the byproduct of both OEM's and fitters adopting the longer shaft = longer distance tenant. Many are saying that even new "standard" length are too long and this trend has made it more difficult for users to make consistent/accurate strikes.  My fitter made a last minute decision/recommendation to go to a +1 inch (from +1/2) on my G410's.  He said the added length was getting my strikes more to center (from toe).  PING's static measurement fitting graph has me solidly in the +1/2 which is what my PE2's were.  Now having played them for just over a year, I'm thinking the length is making my 4i and 5i strike proficiency challenging.  Seems to me all club fittings should include a long iron - as I suspect this would have shown the +1 no bueno.

Irons are comfortable at 1" over length but, I play a 34" putter and grip about 2-3" down from the end of the grip because I like my left arm nearly straight. I am 5'11" with a wrist to floor of 38" which is about 4" more than normal for my height.

If I want to stand like Rickie Fowler then a 35" putter seems just fine holding the end of the grip but, that's not my style.

5'8" and putter length is 32". None of the putters at the stores to try are short enough, being that all I can find is 33". Very comfortable with the 32".

I bet if I took a picture with a 28" putter, you wouldn't think anything looked abnormal

6’1” and currently using a 34” putter. I was using a 35” putter until a couple of months ago but but I found myself constantly gripping all the way at the bottom of the grip. Tried a 34” putter just for the hand comfort and so far the results have been positive.
