Could not understand why the grip on my putter kept going out of alignment and also that the putter did not feel solid when I hit off centre.

Tried to re-align the grip yesterday and this happened.

Easy to fix and glad it happened now and not on the 2nd hole of a comp.

Wow, a putter shaft should never come out of the hosel. Is the insertion depth of the hosel only that small portion of the shaft that is abraded? Because the rest of the shaft looks shiny, at least in this picture.

I've seen that happen with other clubs, mostly irons, the adhesive used dries out and becomes loosen.

I hope the fix is as easy as clean up the shaft and the hosel, the re glue it in place.
