Lynx Parallax Model #2

Heppler Tomcat 14,

I am coming back to golf after a long hiatus.  I used the online fitter and of the 3 it recommended, I liked the look of this one the best.  I am replacing everything in the bag as everything is 15 + years old. Irons on order with a Hybrid.  Still need a putter and a driver.

ZB3, I  used to putt a BeCu Zing 2 for a long time and have been thinking of going back to a blade style. It should be firmer and I have a slight arc putting stroke so this should fit. I really liked the look of the BeCu Zing 2 so looking down the neck and color of these look good to me.

HI there. Been using Ping putters for years, including more recently the Ketsch, the Scottsdale Craz-E and currently the adjustable Ping Wolverine (2 years). I've been thinking just recently as it were of changing up from the Wolverine (like the mallet, like the shape - reminiscent of the CrazE, like the single line for alignment aid, like the adjustability - play it at 32.25 - 32.5") mostly because of the soft feel of the insert and what translates for me into leaving too many putts short. I've been toying around with heavier, firmer putters at the the big box stores, in particular the Ping Heppler - specifically for the firmer feel while maintaining adjustability. I'm partial so slight arc and something heavier (same idea - hopefully heavier and firmer will get more putts to the hole) - the Tomcat or Tyne 3. Would love to work with you as a tester.

Honestly, I have only been out to the driving range a couple of times other than swings and putting in the house while the newborn sleeps lol. I have been planning to go out to either links of taylor/taylor meadows or the muni right here by walmart but something always seems to come up.

Full disclosure: If I were to be so blessed as to be chosen for one of these putters, that would be the kick in the rear to get out and get test, compare and give a thorough review. Thank you for consideration MGS.

Ping Anser 2

I’ve been intrigued by switching to a mallet putter instead of a blade. The Tomcat really looks great with the alignment aids and overall appearance. I’m curious if the performance matches the optics.
