Trout21
My clubs are the original AP2's and after 12 years they have been great clubs. I did my research and hit almost every major brand and it was great to work with a knowledgeable fitter who understood my swing and was able to switch and match shafts. It was really cool and very different from my Titleist tour van fitting 12 years ago. After the marathon session the top 2 were Mizuno JPX 921 Hot Metal Pro and the Wilson d7 Forged. I'm going back tomorrow to make a final decision and make my shaft decision. I am leaning to the Mizuno for the fact you have so much flexibility with options including grips with no up charge. I play midsize so this is a huge bonus. I will report back once they are ordered!!! fixyurdivot, MGoBlue100, cnosil and 5 others 8 Quote Titleist AP2 (first gen) standard lie/length True Temper DG s300 stiff flex Ping I20 Stiff flex 10.5 loft Right handed Born and raised Napa CA

MGoBlue100
Glad you had a great experience! I totally agree with your take re: Mizuno; they allow you to pick a lot of shaft options and grip options at no upcharge, where some mfg's hit you for as much as $30/club for the same shaft. Adds up pretty quickly. One of my best buddies just bought JPX 921"s with Nippon Modus shafts (don't remember the exact specs) and they are SWEET!!! Quote "Where'd it go?" jayjay0808
The JPX921 look like a complete winner this year and the Wilson D7 Forged are heavily well reviewed everywhere I look. Seems like you can't go wrong with either! chisag
... I am joining you and having my first full bag fitting tomorrow at the Mistwood Performance center. I really just wanted a Driver/Putter fitting to check putter for ideal loft and try and few different shafts/heads in my driver but it was $200 for just those 2 and $225 for a full bag fitting. I might as well see how the T100-S stack up to my P760's and the new P770's as well as how my DI/Hybrid/FW gap best for just an additional $25. https://www.mpcgolf.com/club-fitting fixyurdivot, cnosil and Chip Strokes 3 Quote Driver: Qi10 10.5* ... Look forward to hearing how it goes. ... A couple friends of mine went and raved about Mistwood PC and it is close to home. Then several on a Chicago golf site had nothing good to say about CC, although a few enjoyed their fitting. Really just a gut feeling and as I said, I am not expecting to change anything other than shafts or lofts but I will not be surprised at all if nothing is changed. I have probably bought and sold 20 driver shafts in the last 3 years and figured I might as well hit 'em all. I have just never done a full bag fitting just individual clubs and I thought it might be fun. fixyurdivot and cnosil 2 Quote Driver: Qi10 10.5* ... Ventus Red Velocore 5R Fairway: Qi10 5 wood ...
