John - Columbus, Ohio

normally put on carpet into a mug during the winter.
ive had one of the cheap elevated putting practice thing and it actually helped a lot.

I’d like to try the medium speed because I’m in dental school and don’t have much time to go to the putting green!

I practice putting all the time with a putting mat at home. An older Proactive varispeed putting matt. In addition to at the golf course. And with the Puttout putting pressure trainer. And with gates. And with eyeline mirrors. Etc. You name it. So I'd be happy and would embrace the opportunity to work with you to review the Birdie Ball Putting Matt. And to get my four year old daughter trying it too!. Hope to hear from you.

Used the COVID shut down to do a major Marie Kondo on the basement.  Plenty of room now so I purchased an Optishot golf simulator as a reward.  Planning on putting in daily work during the offseason to lower the handicap once an for all.  Would like to add something like this to also work on putting.

  1. How do you keep your putting sharp through the winter?

Im like Francis Ouimet and use a nice glass on my rickety wood floor.

  1. Current/Past Experience with putting mats

hardwood floor, some 2 inch carpet, and dreadful rugs that had some of the worst slopes ever.

  1. Go to www.birdieball.com and tell us which speed green you'd want to test

I would love the 11-13. Gotta practice on the best if you want to be the best

Will practice putt on my carpet, winter doesn't really effect us here in Miami.

i have a Putt Butt.

  1. First Name and Location:  Dave in Edwards, CO
  2. How do you keep your putting sharp through the winter?:  In the past I haven't, this the first year I plan to keep my whole game improving over the winter.  I just completed a conversion of a room in my home to be a full time golf simulator utilizing a Skytrak launch monitor and a Netreturn Simulation net.  I'm in the process of looking for a putting mat to add to the room.
  3. Current/Past Experience with putting mats:  I currently have no experience with putting matts.  I'm in the process of reading all I can about my options to make my decision.  It has been tough without the ability to actually test a solution, having to rely on others opinions and experiences.  I'm likely to order a few different options from Amazon that have free return options once I've narrowed down my choices but that of course would eliminate things like birderball that are not available via Amazon.
  4. Go to www.birdieball.com and tell us which speed green you'd want to test:  I would like to test the fast green option.  I play 90% of my golf at a private course with notoriously fast greens.

Ryan - Portland, OR

I play pretty much all year - winters are wet but playable here in the Pacific NW.  Winter trips to AZ and CA also helpful.

Putting mats used - Putt Out Hole & Putt Out Mat, Delta Putt, and a really bad mat that never laid flat dont remember the name but it has the three silly 'bunker' holes beyond the raised hole section.

Medium or fast mat preferable.
