What is the longest length of time a putter has been in your bag as the primary putter?

My current gamer now has the distinction of being the single putter that I have been gaming the longest, 6 years this month.  I first put my Byron Morgan Epic Day Long Pipe copper plated putter in the bag in September 2014.  There is no end in sight as this putter simply performs. 

What is your longest stretch for a putter in your bag?

I have added two strips of lead tape under the sole for additional weighting.  The putter has a Salty Mid-Plus cork grip on it (with proper shaft build up).  Weight, balance, everything is perfect.  I am NOT going to mess with anything.

I had a Taylormade Rossa blade putter that I used from 2005-2013. I bought it new, and it was when TM first started putting gel-filled grooves in the putter face. Somehow the face got dented and that wrecked the grooves so I had to dump it. Now I've had a Odyssey Versa #7 for about 4 years. Very soft face, and I just cut it down to 32" and put the fattest grip Super Stroke makes on it. You'll have to pry it out of my cold hands.

After switching about every 6-8 months, I found “The One”, 9 years 6 months.

With a almost straight back stroke, this was NOT supposed to work for me, but when I saw this, I had to try it. The “T” alignment is so easy for me to align.

My Cleveland has been my "go to" for three years now. I have two other backup putters but I honestly don't think I've subbed the #10 out since I got it.

Had a set putter from my original wal-mart special in 1999 so had that for 18 years (couldn’t even tell you the brand honestly). Had that putter up to when I bought my current game o-works 1w in 2017. Looking to swap out this off season we’ll see.

From the time I bought my first real putter (Odyssey Rossie White Hot XG). I used that for probably 10+ years and my father is still using it. Then I had a Scotty Cameron Newport for 5+ years. This year I started using a Evnroll ER2B and that will probably be in the bag for a long time.

I'll see your iWi and raise you a 2005 G2i Craz-E.  I would consider something new, but I really want to get fit if I'm going to buy a new putter.

I have a La Jolla that I got fitted for in 2005.  (By Dana Upshaw. I know some of you know him.) At the time I tracked my stats obsessively, and after two months with it my putts per round had dropped by 5 strokes. Who else can say one club dropped your handicap by 5? . I have started a lesson program this year, and at the first session I was getting a bit tired, so we took a break and Steve said, "Let's look at your putting." After about ten strokes he said, "Don't ever let anybody change a damn thing!" I have a backup Cleveland putter that is essentially identical, but I got it only in case something ever happens to the La Jolla. The Cleveland has never seen the course.

Off the rack, it sat at SW- F7. But I hated the slim Winn grip, so I immediately had it replaced by a Lamkin Jumbo, it brought the SW down to where I couldn't feel the head. I got the optional weight kit (I hadn't left the store) and switched the 2x12 gr weights to 2x20 gr and brought the SW back up to F4. The head is now at 386 gr, I love it that way. 

I was trying/comparing Titleist California Del Mar and Studio Select Kombi when I noticed the Ping sitting in the wrong section.
