I'm interested in trying these wedges for many reasons. I live in AZ and there is sand everywhere. I am a grinder and, as such, the sand wears down wedges very fast. Im interested to see how these hold up, not just from a groove standpoint but also the lack of finish. I currently have black wedges and the wear pattern was visible after 1 practice session. Also, I'm interested to see forgiveness on shots. Miss hits are going to, and that's one downside to my vokeys. If the dispersion is better with Cleveland, I'm on board with the switch

Appeal of a raw wedge: Testing the theory that raw wedges spin more and tracking the progression how quickly they develop rust and other signs of age.

wedges are my favorite part of the game. I genuinely enjoy practicing with them. A Raw wedge looks great and love when it starts to turn but the spin is what I really need. Really need the grooves to get that ball moving

I have always like the look of raw wedges and have done the coke trick to strip the finish on wedges that I could not get in raw finish.  For me I think it is a psychological effect giving me more confidence with them even though I know it does not help performance in reality.
