Curiousity, never hit a raw finished wedge, interested to get more spin/bite

Handicap = .3

Current Model Wedges Played = Titleist SM4 62, SM5 48, SM7 54, SM8 58

What Appeals to You About a Raw Wedge = Design looks closer to an iron, which I like. I like the rust/wear of a raw wedge personally.

First Name/City State: Jay/Hamilton, Ontario

Handicap: 2.8

Current Model Wedges Played: Vokey SM5 (54 and 58 degrees)

What Appeals to You About a Raw Wedge: I wear my wedges out fairly quickly so it would be interesting to see the whole wedge age and show wear rather than just the face and sole wearing out

Cleveland Tour Action 797 BeNi.

I have yet to find a wedge that gives me better spin than my current set. I love Cleveland wedges, and would love to see if these new wedges can cut it with the proven 797’s.

Now use Callaway Jaws Raw Finish

I like the lack of glare on setup with a duller finish. I also believe raw-faced wedges have more feel from lack of a hard-plated layer and more spin from surface roughness of rusted, raw surface.

head shape allows me to be confident over the ball. Anything huge makes me feel like I’m chipping with a boat oar

current wedges- Cleveland RTX 4, previous Cleveland tour action 900

usually go with the black matte wedge color for no glare.  Raw provides same benefit and love the look as they age.

would love to review the 56 and 60 degree wedges
