current wedges are Cleveland RTX 2.0 in black, 56 and 60 degree.

Personally I dig patina. I think things that may look a little seasoned but perform like new are just plain rad. I play through the winter, so I’ll be able to see exactly how quickly these things turn out!

Let's get RAW, shall we? The new raw/tour rack finish of the RTX Zipcore wedge is made of unplated 8620 carbon steel that will patina and rust after a few weeks of regular use, giving you that signa

What Appeals to You About a RawWedge:

I’m alway looking to create more spin in either full shots or around the green. Playing the Vokey oil can has given me an idea of what a raw wedge could do.

Was a fan of the old trusty rusty with the raw feel and finish in its day. Very Intrigued to see how the newer design/technology compares to the old.

I need new wedges and Cleveland has always made quality well liked wedges so I'm interested to try them. The RAW is appealing because they look clean. I like to look in my bag and see wedges that look much different from my irons.

I thought this was a late entry at first...but then I realized it was a real test.  Great opportunity again this year.  Good luck to everyone who applies.

I thought the same at first.

With non raw wedges, I find that when the sun gets low in the sky at the perfect angle (which seemed to happen every time I’d play when I had satin wedges), I’d either have to deloft the club. Or, I’d have to move the ball in my stance to be able to look at the ball without getting blinded. Even the brushed steel finish from vokey and other similar offerings aren’t truly glare free. Raw is the ticket, and people think I’m better at golf than I really am when they see them

I appreciate that raw finish doesn’t allow light to refract back into my face when hitting shots into the sun, as well the look as they are exposed to the elements. Raw seems to just feel better.

Interested in these specifically due to the grind and leading edge custom options. I like the look of a rusty wedge, anything to help keep me from getting blinded while playing in the sun is a good thing.

I enjoy the worn look of the raw (not rusted) wedge and the increase feel (even if its just mental).

I have been playing for 25 years and exclusively Cleveland wedges with one deviation to the Nike VR Pro XEX. Most recently I put in a rotex 2.0 raw 60 and love it. I use it anywhere around the green and love that it allows me to utilize the face around the greens

Handicap- 25ish

Right now I play top flite wedges

I have never played a raw wedge, but the idea is very appealing, because I struggle to create spin

I play golf at least twice a week sometimes more but I’ve only been playing for a couple months
