Handicap - 4

current model - rtx4 raw with s400

I have raw irons (Adams) and raw wedges (50,54,58).  Would love to compare to current offering from Cleveland. Not too impressed with the rtx4

Favor raw wedges because chrome finish wedges show signs of wear on the face from practice. Find the wear patterns distracting

Murds...Alberta, Canada.

No longer do I use blades.

Prefer a 5 wood over a hybrid

Double Hip Replacement

Supporter of continuous putting...mark it once, clean it, finish it

Golf needs to be fun and enjoyable, but still maintain etiquette.

No sunflower seeds please !

the raw wedges look awesome! I’ve been wanting to try a more traditional wedge shape in my lob wedge, and one with 60* of loft. I used to have the old 588 in my first set of clubs out of school and have always loved Cleveland’s stuff. Would be great to try again. Very curious if there is any truth to the additional spin with raw wedges theory in practice too.

I love that raw wedges don’t have any glare and the look of the patina. I also feel like I get a little better spin control, especially greenside.

I dont know if Raw does appeal to me,  numbers so its not better for spin, but im curious if the feel difference is really worth it

I’m interested in seeing what the difference is between my current wedges and raw wedges to see if it might have an improvement on my shots around the green

Playing mostly Mizuno Hot Metal, but just added an Epic Flash 26* hybrid to the bag.

Custom Raw Vokey SM7 54 & 58

I have been using Raw wedges since the Cleveland 588 came out with the RTGs back in the late 90s. The glare reduction is one of the biggest appeals to me. Playing in Florida, glare is a big deal when opening up the club face to the sky. They also feel softer to me than chromed wedges though I don’t know if that is truly the case. I also feel the layer of rust that forms provides more friction on the face which provides more spin.
