Played Cleveland wedges years ago.  Like the satin/matte finish and want spin and distance control in wedges.  Ready for change....would like to see if cleveland is back in the mix

I would love to try the new ZipCore wedges as I have aging Cleveland Rotex 2.0 wedges.  I would prefer the 56 and 60 degree models with KBS Spin shafts. Two degrees upright, +3/4 shaft length and golf pride align mid size plus 4 grips!

Mizuno MP25 irons P - 5 iron.  KBS 125 X Flex Taper Light shafts

Cleveland black finish Rotex 2.0 wedges with KBS Hi Rev 2.0 shafts ( 52, 56, 60 )

Apex Tour Hybrid 23 degree w/ Kurokage X flex shaft

Exotic EX10 hybrid 19 degree w/ Matrix Altus tour shaft X flex shaft

Exotic EX9 3 Metal 15 degree w/ Ozik MFS Red Tie Shaft X flex

Ping G Driver 9 degrees w/ Ping Tour X flex shaft

TaylorMade Milled Grind 2 (54, 58)

Love the look of a raw wedge. Used to soak Vokey’s to strip the finish, and now have the rusted face on the MG2. I love the feel on the club, and the feel of more spin (even if the numbers may or may not be higher). The rusted raw finish is much more pleasing at address and doesn’t allow for glare and inspires confidence for whatever shot I am hitting.

Want to see how much of a visibility difference the raw finish makes in actual course conditions, not just in a simulator indoors.

What Appeals to You About a Raw Wedge:

Have never played a raw club in any capacity. Have always thought about giving it a shot but always afraid to pull the trigger in the end.

To Apply please provide the following information:

Brian - Rexburg, Idaho

Handicap 18

Titleist Vokey 54* S grind, 58* K grind

Back in the day, I made a Dynacraft raw finish 54* that I let rust for feel.  At one point I played the RTX 2 and loved the Cleveland feel, so I'd love to try these.

Thanks for your consideration!

What Appeals to You About a Raw Wedge - I like the reduced glare and the "worn-in" look after a few rounds.  Makes it look like a trusty tool ready to do some work.

Mizuno S20

Appeal: Spin and consistency in wet conditions. Play a lot early in the morning when dew is still on ground. Have had issues catching fliers out of fairways due to the moisture on ground.

Hard chrome is harder than the metal under it, so a raw finish wedge should be softer and that should make for more spin on the ball from a raw wedge. Plus it should develop some light rust over time which should make the face of the wedge even rougher for more spin still. For these reasons I would love to try two of these RAW wedges from Cleveland.

What I like about raw wedges is ability to fly it to the hole with immediate stop and spin.
