TR1PTIK 3,492
It's definitely an intriguing product. I hope they'll take this fitted version out to the course. I'd love to see Matt try to find fairway with it and see how his approach distances change. Only $750! Two years ago I was set-up to try their first US release. I was going to be in Orlando and got in-touch with the rep. She and I had a date and time set, but due to meeting/work issues, I had to cancel. It would be pretty cool to try this one, but it’s very clear that one better have an exceptional fitter to be able to really dial it in. 3 Quote Driver: King F9 Speedback/Epic Max LS, Xphlexxx Busa 2 Liquid, XX stiff, 45” Fwy: Epic Speed 4w, MMT 80X Hybrid: X2 Hot Pro, 20*, Graphite Design Tour AD-DI 105X Irons: TR20 Tour P 4-10, Modus 130 stiff, +1” Wedges: SMS 50D/54V/58DModus 130 stiff, +1” Putter: EAS 1.0 All but putter have Lamkin ST+2 Hybrid Calibrate midsize built to oversize +

ejgaudette 3,726
There is clearly something very interesting with that shaft. They mentioned others have thought something some non-newtonian properties so it stiffens the more your try to flex it. Would love to know more about how it works, but seems like that will remain a mystery for now. 2 Quote Epic Max LS 9° Smoke Black 70g 6.5 (2021 Official Review) | Epic Speed 15° Smoke iM10 60g 6.0 816 H1 18° Speeder HB 8.8 Stiff | 816 H1 21° Diamana S+ Blue 70 Stiff JPX 919 HM Pro 5 - PW Pro Tour Spec 115i Stiff | Equalizer 52° / 56° Tour V 110 Stiff SOFT 11S Super Stroke Mid-Slim 2.0 | Hoofer Bag | - Pro V1x | Right Handed Tracked by V3

It seems like many take the tactic of I can buy it an sell it for only a $100 loss so basically they paid 100 to demo the club for a couple rounds if they don't like it. Not a bad way to do it if you can get someone to buy your clubs and you really want to do some good on course testing. I am just not that confident I could get that money back each time. 2 Quote Epic Max LS 9° Smoke Black 70g 6.5 (2021 Official Review) | Epic Speed 15° Smoke iM10 60g 6.0 816 H1 18° Speeder HB 8.8 Stiff | 816 H1 21° Diamana S+ Blue 70 Stiff JPX 919 HM Pro 5 - PW Pro Tour Spec 115i Stiff | Equalizer 52° / 56° Tour V 110 Stiff SOFT 11S Super Stroke Mid-Slim 2.0 | Hoofer Bag | - Pro V1x | Right Handed Tracked by V3

There are an absurd number of golf equipment addicts on WRX. I consider myself an addict, but not as bad as many of the folks over there. Like i see people buy a 9, a 10.5, and a 12 degree head all at once so they can determine which they like best (instead of just trying them out at the store).
