When I used Tour Velvet I had to regrip each year, sometimes my driver & wedges didn't last the whole year. But now that I use the MCC +4 midsize, I get 2 seasons out of them.

I switched from Dri Tac's to Tour Velvet Plus 4.  Helped me take a lighter grip and hit it a bit straighter.  Fitter tried the larger grip during a session to help a hook tendency and sure enough that and adding an inch to the shaft.  Had an injury years ago and the more upright stance lets me hit it straighter.  New PXG irons i just got have a Lamkin Midside Z5 on them but it feels very much like the Tour Velvet.  This time next year I'll have a good review on which one of those I prefer.  Grip size is just as important as picking the correct shafts in your clubs.

I use the CP2 Pro mid size. The Winn Dri Tac's did not hold up well for me. Good grip but poor durability.

I agree.  Also use CP 2 midsize.  I had the same problem with Winn Dri-Tac.  Very tacky to start with but smoothed out very quickly it seemed.  Will likely stick with CP 2 or similar from now on.   I can get 2-3 years out of them.

Just had all my clubs (except putter) regripped with Golf Pride MCC Plus 4 Midsize in Grey. So far so good, though my old grips didn't feel slippery at all after 2+ years.
