Reconditioned a Ping as a gift

My future father in law is a huge UCLA fan so I just reconditioned this putter. Came out pretty sweet I think!

Looks good!  Could really set the Bears colors off by putting a little blue and yellow paint fill in the head, but that is minor.  Nice work.

I’m looking into the type of paint that would work well for this. I only want to do it if I can make it look super clean.

model paint from your local craft or hobby store would be my go-to. the kind of stuff used on model train sets and things like that. 

i’d apply it with one of these:

First coat complete. Need to clean up around the edges and do at least one more coat, but the colors definitely pop!

Thanks, better than I expected when I started. It was an old rusty looking thing.
