grafflloy pro launch blue 65 .335 shaft

am thinking of assembling a 7 wood with  graffalloy pro lunch blue shat tipped at .335.

my question is that the head is also .335 and im wondering if shft wil fit as they both are at .335 and yes this is a newb question as im just tinkering with the idea. thanks guys for your help.

If you check with Golfworks website for the Grafalloy Pro Launch Blue shaft, it shows .335 tip diameter with a 4.5 inch parallel tip section.  The trim code is listed as W2, which shows a 1" tip trim for all lofts more than a 5W so 1 inch for a 7W as well.

Golfworks is a good reference for club building.  Of course, you will need to prepare the tip if it isn't already and install a ferrule.

Adding on to the previous response. Yes, ideally you want to match the tip sizes. .335 head would need a .335 shaft. You can use different shaft sizes, but you have to do more work
