Can anyone tell me how to make my Scotty head cover magnetic

I just got fit at Club Champion and now have a Scotty Cameron Special Select Fastback 1.5 putter.  I love the putter but far prefer a magnetic putter cover.  Does anyone know how to modify a Scotty cover to magnetize the cover?

Driver: Titleist TSR 3 10* Accura TZ6 M3 65g

Fairways: Callaway Rogue 15* & 19* Matrix Ozik TP 6 HD stiff 

Hybrid: Titleist TSI 4 & 5 Hybrids Mitsubishi Tensi AV 65 HY X stiff   

Irons:  KZG Forged III 6-P Accura iS7 (Refinished and regrooved)

Wedges: Cleveland CBX  50*, Taylormade MG 3 Tiger grind 56 bent to 54/10 & Taylormade MG 4 Tiger grind 56 bent to 58/14

Putter: Positive Putter's Custom P2 (think Edel putter meets Heavy Putter)

Ball: Callaway Chome Tour                        

All clubs have Winn Dri-Tac Wraps oversized

Go to a craft store and buy velco and neodymium magnets. Put the magnets on the velcro of the headcover and cover it with the velcro you purchased. Obviously use the opposite type of velcro for each side of the headcover. The velcro will hold the magnets in place and now you'll have a magnetic cover. 

My bag is a revolving door!

That might work for a while depending on the size of the magnet and the velcro. 

@Mackdaddy9 I was thinking you could take the cover, and the magnets you buy to a place that does alterations - like a dry cleaner. They can sew the magnets in or, open it up and insert the magnets and sew it back up. 

Golf is simple - people are complicated.

Well I went on amazon and bought some very strong magnets.  I used a really sharp pen knife and cut the stitches on one side, then I slipped in the magnets.  At first they were set in opposites and they didn't stick, they repelled.  It thru me for a bit.  Once I figured it out it was easy to flip one over and stitch them back in.  They work great!    I like to stick the head cover to my clubs when I go to the green to putt.

Crazy someone posted this. I was literally just thinking of this earlier today. Guess I'll have to do this as well! The Velcro on my headcover is all but useless. I usually lose the headcover every few rounds and have to circle back.

I'm a hockey player playing golf today.

This is an awesome thread. I think I might go temporary and do the Velcro from craft store and magnets.

You can split the cover and see magnets in. Or the Velcro pockets work perfectly fine
