Scooby456 17
Let us know how they work out for you. I would be interested to hear how the hybrids work. I got the 699U out on the course today. It performed great off the deck and well out of the rough when I pushed a few off the tee. Completely toed the last one as I was rushing to beat the daylight, was worried I couldn’t find it as I completely lost it in the dusk and being new I don’t know my tendencies. Ended up finding it dead center of the fairway 1 Quote Swing away! Link to comment

The demo is a great way to go. Knowing myself it would cost me the price of a complete new set of clubs by the time I decide on what to get. wolfpacker92 26
I started back playing after a 10 year hiatus. Got interested in Sub 70 after reading about them on MyGolfSpy and did a lot of research. Was right on the verge of an online purchase when I had to travel to Illinois for work. Had a day off after my arrival and had inquired if an in person fitting might be a possibility. Jason contacted me back and said he would personally do it. He fit me for my 699 Pro irons and I have never hit a set of irons more consistently than I have these! First round out with them shot 81. I have since purchased a 939x hybrid and love it. Recently picked up a Pro Fairway wood and 699U 3 iron, but due to weather haven't been able to hit them yet. Every club I've tried has been great and would buy them again. 5 Quote Radspeed XB 10.5 degree driver F8 3-4 wood f8 3 Hybrid M2 4 Hybrid or 939 4 Hybrid 699 Pro Irons 5-AW PM Grind 56 degree wedge ER5 black putter ProV1x left dash Link to comment

Scott in Chandler, AZ 5
I just sent back my 639mb-plus demo irons (6/9) and they were a pleasure to hit! Tom the Golf Nut 8,787
The weather finally cooperated today. I got to try out the JB Wedge. Feels good and I was able to hit about 30 balls to try it in different situations. So far very pleased. The first photo is after 30 shots from fairway, and rough. No cleaning. No sand shots today they are all mud pits with standing water after all the rain we had over the past few weeks. The second two are after cleaning the club. The black finish held up well so far. I was worried about the finish. I typically go with satin or chrome, But this was not available in satin yet. 6 Quote Driver, TSi1 10* Stiff Flex 3 Wood, SLDR HL 17* R Flex 5 Wood, SLDR 19* R Flex 7 Wood, F6 22.5* R Flex 939x 5 hybrid Irons, 699 Pro's S Flex (6 - AW) JB Wedge 56* Wedge, CBX 60* Putter, Marksman Fang 35" Link to comment

If you could do it all over, would you make the same purchase or go a different route? thanks for any feedback! At one point last season, I only had 12 clubs in my bag... I jumped from 6 iron to hybrid... I was in the middle of a bag rebuild, and wasn't sure what I wanted to do. I picked up the 699u 4 iron, and loved it... it was the first utility iron I had ever gotten along with. Jason was helpful, service was great price was amazing... then I realized I should actually carry a 5 iron... Same experience, 639 CB 5 iron, Jason was super helpful on shaft selection, and offered me the S400, which hadn't come up in a fitting when I was between the S300 and X100... Great club, great price, great service. I wanted wedges built to my specs, so I went Sub70... 54 286 and 58 JB Low Bounce... Both are great clubs. Finally, when they offered a non adjustable hybrid, I bought it the day of release... 4 separate transactions, all clubs ordered and built custom. 0 problems, excellent service. I could easily bag a set of Sub70s (outside the putter and maybe the driver) and highly recommend reaching out to them with questions... benb1989 123
I am very interested in some Sub70 irons as I like the look of them. Only just started looking. Im playing off 13, how do people find the forgiveness of the 699 or 699 pros? I love the look of the 699 pro black but wondering if im safer going for the 699 if they are more forgiving.? One thing that would stop me is not being able to try the clubs before hand, I don't believe the ship demos to England. 1 Quote , Driver, Mavrik Max 10.5*, Aldila rouge white 60, XS flex , 3 Wood, MX-700, S flex , 4 Hybrid, Mavrik Max, S flex , 5-PW 699 Pro, KBS Tour S flex , Wedges, Vokey, 52*, 56*, 60* , Putter, Stroke Lab Black #7 , Tour Speed - trying Triad Link to comment

Larryd3 385
I received the JB low bounce 58* wedge a couple days ago. I've had it on the range and course a couple times. Overall it's a great feeling and performing wedge. Before I had 2 high bounce wedges in the bag but I'm finding that having a LB 58* and then a higher bounce 54* makes for more choices depending on the area of the course, condition of bunkers, etc. So far this wedge is a winner for me. I had it built to same specs/shaft etc as my current SM8 so the switchover was painless. 3 Quote SIM2 Max Ping G410 5 wood Ping G410 7 & 9 woods Titleist T100S 6-gap or TM 2790 5-gap Vokey SM8 54 Sub70 JB low bounce 58 or SM8 58* PXG Operator H Link to comment
