How do I add a video to a post?

Your best option is to upload the video to either YouTube or Twitter or Instagram (if you have those accounts). Then copy and paste the link to your posts. The video will embed automatically and be easily seen by others.

I just did that with an Instagram link, but when I view the post I only see a link, not an embedded video. Any ideas?

You Try the "Other Media" button and insert an "image" from URL? That's worked for me in the past with Insta posts, GIFs, etc... Haven't tried it with a video yet, though...

Well, nm...I just tried it myself and it wouldn't take the Video post. I'm sure someone on here know how. I saw @Shankopotamushad some videos in his recent Ping Heppler review, maybe he can assist 🙂

An instagram line and a video are 2 different things.  But for both you need to get the URL/link for what you want to include.   Don't know if you are on a computer or phone so I am don't what instructions to provide.

I initially thought that it's because you changed the text for the link ("Love this sound"). Minimally, you need to just copy and paste the URL directly into your post; don't use the "insert link" button.

But when I tried that with your video, it still wouldn't embed. So I tried one of my own Instagram videos, and it didn't work either. But Twitter still does:

There's something broken in the connection between the Forum and Instagram right now. I'm going to see if I can straighten that out. Facebook also doesn't work; they own Instagram, so that seems related.

YouTube also still works.
