Titleist TSI

Anyone get their hands on the new Titleist TSI drivers or wood yet, curious how the play, can’t wait for the testers reactions...

They aren’t available for the public yet.  But check back here on November 12.  Seven of us will be putting them through an extensive 5 week review/testing.

Got fit for both on October 13th and the Driver and 3 wood just arrived today. Look great and performance in the fitting was definitely intriguing. As CG2 said, I would keep locked in to the OFFICIAL TEST THREAD to get everyone's feedback on both models from start to finish.

You got your TSi already?   Are you PGA or just know somebody

I might be a PGA Associate working at a facility that is almost exclusively a Titleist Shop

Being a +2 H/C helps people out! They usually have connections.

I find that I picked up 5 MPH of ball speed going from a TS2 to a TSi2. Using the shaft from the TS2 in the TSi2 for a true comparison. The TS2 is a 9.5° and the TSi2 is 9.0°. Launch angle went from 13° to 14° and spin rate came down from 2100 RPM to near 1950 RPM. 

Definitely an upgrade!

I mean it certainly has never hurt  My buddy who has a handicap anywhere between +2 to +5 seems to always have a connection or get hooked up

And probably gets invites to play at places most of us never will.   Of course at +5 it’s possible he’s getting paid to play!

Yea he often does well at the Section Majors. Wouldn't be surprised if he qualifies for a PGA Championship in the next few years now that he is Class A. He is also a good instructor, especially with juniors

What was your carry variation with those numbers?

It varied between 8-10 yards.

 Hi, they are on the shelf and in my pro shop here in Tasmania. I took one out on the range yesterday for a short hit (recovering from an arthroscopy on my medial ligament so not going hard), I was very impressed. Lovely feel and sound and from the limited number of balls I hit it performed really well. I currently am using a Ping i25 because nothing has worked better for me yet but I got a really good feeling about this driver. It was quite windy but the tsi2 that I tried had a very nice penetrating flight. I will be taking it out again next week when I get the all clear on my knee and comparing it against my i25 and also the new Ping 425 which someone else had when I was there hitting but looks sensational.
