Sorry, idk if you've already mentioned this in a previous comment and I'm way too lazy to look through 27 pages and nothing came up when I used the search function:

What is the sound like to you? Since you played a SIM Max prior to this, I'm wondering if the TSi2 sounds more metal like the Ping drivers tend to sound like, or more of a crack like the Max? Hit my TSi2 fairways today and I'm in love with the sound, could definitely see the driver making its way into my bag potentially.

Reposting this video from a few weeks ago so you can hear the sound

I know you asked DLow, but we both have the TSi2.
It is definitely more of a crack, think baseball hitting a wooden bat sound, unlike hitting an aluminum bat.   Definitely more in the tone of SIM--I had the Sim Max earlier in the year.   Nothing like a PING and not near as muted as a Callaway.
Best sounding driver I have hit in a while, and I've hit a couple

Gotta agree the sound!!

Met w the Titleist Reps this morning. Worst possible day in a year, 38*, 15 mph wind (w gusts) directly in our face, over a lake of course! It was so windy they had to take down the Tent.
The weather was horrible but the experience really good. Guys, besides freezing took their time and went thru the process. Started w 40 gr shafts thru 55gr and ended up w Kuro Kage 50 gr R2 which is almost same shaft I have now except it’s the 55 gr R2, 5 gr difference. The aha moment was when they took out the heel weight and replaced w -4 gr and that was the ticket. Height, carry distance were improved, a lot. They’re emailing stats to me computer batteries were acting up w the cold.
BTW, I shouldn’t have worn shorts

I know, the Rep was chuckling when I didn’t want to give him the iron back.
Red Tensi shaft, have to do research on it.

Oh just a note and to drop a challenge to the testers.

WRX members began their test with these this week.   Let’s show them you don’t need to drive it 330 to kill a review.

I thought it was 360 + roll... and 100% FW hit.... driving every other Par 4...?

Either way... I won’t read theirs, but I will read all of yours. 🙌🏼

Maybe I missed this in the thread but .....

what shafts did everyone get fit into?

I'm trying to decide which shaft to pursue with my upcoming purchase.  Since @Golfspy_CG2won't hook a brutha up with his TSi2, I have to buy my own.  So I want to make sure the shaft is correct if I'm spending that kinda cash $$$

98 - 102 mph club speed (the upper end on a good day when my back doesn't hurt)  HA!

But to answer your question, I ordered the Kuro Kage 50g Which is probably too light and too soft for a big gun like you 🙂

I have heard good things about the Tensei AV White Raw, I think the Stiff is 66g   But if your a HZRDUS fan, the RDX Smoke in 62g might work.

Can you head over to 1757 and try them out there?

It's really not going to matter because I will end up taking my current shaft in my TS2 now & playing that one.

I think it's a huge waste of time if I only have 4 Stock shafts to choose from to be fit into.  I hate the huge upcharge that Titleist is charging for upgraded shafts.  They would sell more clubs if that weren't the case.   But I'm not spending an additional $250 - $300 on an upgraded shaft.

I don't have the hook up like you, nor have so much free cash $$$ to flow into my golf game 😉

I had to cancel my Titleist Thursday over at Olney Golf Park because I wasn't feeling well that day.

I've seen Roger Hatcher over there at 1757 for the last 4 years

I paid regular retail for my GD shaft.  I paid regular price for my T100S/T200 Combo and I did the driver as a forum test.  So not sure of what hook ups you are talking about.

A GD shaft after market new is $380 and used to be $500 for the AD DI. The good thing is that most people don’t need an after market shaft and can do just fine with a no upcharge shaft especially the ones most brands offer these days are the real deal after market version.

There’s lots of consumer items that cost a lot that people don’t need but by.

It’s simple play what works for you and fits your budget and don’t worry about what someone spends or doesn’t spend their money on or why they spend their money on it.

I continue to be impressed by the forgiveness of the TSI2.  When hit in the center, the ball seems to explode off the face.  Nevertheless, center hits go the same distance with my old driver, the Fusion.  I hit two drives today, back to back, first with the Titleist and then with the Fusion.  Same swing speed, same ball speed, same carry distance and same smash factor (1.49).  So I have to conclude that the center hits are maxed out tech wise.

But, what really stands out is how shots hit off-center are not really punished much.  I hit a couple way off the heel, and they out carried a similar hit on my Fusion by 10 yards.  I thought the Fusion was super forgiving, but the Titleist defiantly out performs it on less than stellar contact shots.

One small problem:  I was teeing the ball extra high to check out shots high on the face and made a couple of idiot marks on the top of the club.  The glossy finish definitely show the marks and they don't rub out.

Is the problem of being able to see and not remove idiot marks the manufacturer’s fault or the users?

I've been following this thread with quite some interest (I have my own driver fitting scheduled for Monday upcoming). Thanks to all the testers and their feedback, I can't wait to try the TSi! I am wondering, though, @dlow206 what happened to your SIM/Motore X combo? I see lots of refs to the SIM/Ventus Red as your gamer going in to the TSi test, but not about the Motore (sorry if I missed it, I have read all 29 pages and searched).

Knowing you're a tinkerer (so maybe it's irresponsible for me to even suggest it), if I was in your shoes I would have a hard time not pulling the TM adapter off the Motore and replacing it with a Titleist one. You know, just to see... I guess that's against the test rules, but maybe a posttest test in the offing?

I’ve been experiencing this same thing. I hit a few poor shots yesterday that did not lose a ton of distance compared to a well struck one, like I have noticed with other drivers.

I’m seriously impressed with this thing.

I gave the Motore X shaft to another forum member to give it a try.
