Walking through my local Costco in Vegas and right up front they have the wedge set and a big palette of the 3 piece Performance + V2.0 balls.
picked up 2 sets of the wedges and 5 boxes of the balls. Very curious as to how well they work. Stay tuned.

I would be interested to know how they perform. I have talked a boatload of trash about them using the same logo as they use on their Toilet Paper and Rotisserie Chickens, so please, let me know how they go so I know if I need to start working on jamming my size 15 foot into my mouth or not. 🤣

Here’s a few comparison photos of the wedges. I’ve had some Vokey SM7 wedges in 54 and 58° which are pictured.
the KS wedges look nice and they seem to have some micro-grooves to help with spin. My only concern before hitting them is the grind and bounce as I have no idea what they are. The leading edge looks sharp and unforgiving.

Here’s the inside of the new Performance+ ball (left) and the old one.
the yellow core feels just a tad softer to the touch than the old pink one.

in this one ball I cut apart you can see that both cores are just a tad off center.

Any notable difference of the cover? That was just the 1 thing that I haven't liked about the KS balls is the glossy off-color look of the cover.

the more I practice, the luckier I seem to get..

You didn’t like the look of the cover? If so, this one doesn’t seem to look any different.

It’s hard to tell with just my fingernail but it’s possible the new cover is softer but I wouldn’t actually put any money on that. My fingernail isn’t that highly calibrated. 😉

Went and played a 12 hole par 3 course with the new balls and wedges. I don’t have any complaints on either. The wedges and balls both spun enough that when they hit the green the stayed within a foot or so of their pitch marks. The greens aren’t terribly hard so that does help a bit.
All my swings were nice and easy as I’ve heard that the shafts are soft. I couldn’t verify that myself.
Here are a few photos of the 60° in “action”.

I'm sure it's probably just a "me" thing with the cover.

As for the softer cover, it would be interesting to see how durable it is if indeed it is any softer.

That is indeed a great looking wedge. It has a nice subtle curve on the leading edge which I've come to appreciate with my current wedges and can be very effective with the correct grind. I know some might not be down with the limited single grind offered but if it's something similar to a Vokey M Grind or Callaway C grind (universal), 95% of players will be happy. Hopefully they took some heavy consideration with actual grind choice and didn't just do something flat. Do you know which grind pattern they've opted for? It's hard to tell with the pics.

And the ultimate question is.. exactly how acetone resistant is that paint fill on the back? 😛

In case they sold out and someone I knew wanted a set. I don’t have any interest in flipping them on eBay or anything like that. Worst case is they stay in the box and then I return them.

Just noticed that on the box there is a bit of info on the wedges. I’ve attached it for reference.
Also, I read on GolfWRX that these were supposed to be similar to a D grind but after looking at their profile, I think it’s more like a K or F grind.

... Not a "me" thing as many agreed with you because the original cover looked cheap. More Top Flite than ProV1. The 2nd (3rd?) generation switched to a more normal looking urethane cover. They still spin too much for me and the cover isn't as durable as others but other than that, they are a great urethane ball for $1 each.

... Original Performance+ on there right and the current version on the left:

Thanks for clearing this up. I think after the 2nd gen and all of the drama with Titleist, and last year having cover durability issues, I just backed away from KS balls all together.

No doubt for the price they're a great buy. I'd like to see a couple of runs of production without any funny business and I might consider giving them another try.

the more I practice, the luckier I seem to get..

It is surprising how much of a difference there is in color. I’ve never thought that the current balls seemed off white so those original balls must really glow.

This is interesting. I have noticed the same thing with the Maxfli tour. I've played them all summer and noticed the quick discoloration. Things that make you wonder...🤔

... I don't really notice any discoloration with the second generation KSig but next to the super bright first generation it certainly looks the way. I did notice the Maxfli Tours discolored quicker than most though.

So I played a couple rounds with the wedges in my bag and I’ve got mixed feelings about them. On the very first hole I shanked 2 shots in a row with the 60 (shanked one then dropped a ball to try again because I was in disbelief). I’m not a fantastic player but it has been quite a long time since I’ve full blown shanked a half swing wedge shot. It was very weird.
Those were the only 2 times I shanked any shots so it might have just been me. My “issue” I had was my distances. I’ve not played these lofts before so I might just need to spend some time and get the distances dialed in but I frequently came up short on my wedge approach shots by about 5 yards or so. I normally just game a 54 and a 58 Vokey SM7 so I had those distances dialed pretty good on my half and full swing shots. Instead of getting onto the green from 50-80 yards out I would keep coming up 5-8 yards short. I’m just going to chalk it up to needing to dial in my distances before I start making any final decisions.

As far as the V2 balls are concerned, they were just fine. Almost indistinguishable from the V1 in performance as far as I could tell. The cover held up just fine other than when it hit a rock or 2 when it was hit off line. I’m blaming the wind on that. 😉 The balls didn’t seem to perform any different than the others.

That doesn’t surprise me too much. In theory every degree is supposed to add/subtract ≈2.5 yards. So if your used to playing a 54 and 58, it makes total sense as to why you were coming up shorts. Also, I’ve found the K Sig balls to be very spinny off of iron and wedge shots. Combine new grooves and a spinny ball and that could account for the distance loss as well.

Just got back from our local Costco.  The Kirkland wedges, putter, gloves and 3-piece 2.0 balls are all in stock.

2 dozen of the balls were $24.95.  I have some of the (apparently 1.0) balls, so now that I know they're two different balls - I think I'll double back and buy some.

I'll run them both on my SkyTrak and see if I can tell any difference.

Should be interesting...

Sorry for the delay, I ran the tests - but with the holidays, forgot to post them.

This is a comparison of the Kirkland 3-piece, Kirkland 3-piece v2.0 and a Titleist ProV1

This tests the Driver - 7 iron - PW.

I alternated which balls I used first, second, third to try to normalize the results.

Few questions for you. How many shots total did you hit for each ball and club?
I’m surprised to see such a difference in spin between v1 and v2. I play them both and don’t know that I’ve ever been able to see or feel a difference. I’m not the best player so that shouldn’t mean all that much.
The carry difference with your driver from v1 to v2 is also very surprising.
The Driver seems to be where there is the biggest difference between all of them.

I hit a LOT of shots, but only kept the good one's.  I only kept the best 5 as I didn't want my bad swings to impact the results.

For the Driver, if it was more than 15 yards off target, I discarded it.

For the 7-iron, if it was more than 10 yards off target, I discarded it.

For the PW, if it was more than 7 yards off target, I discarded it.

No real science to that, just was a self-imposed parameter so I wouldn't skew the numbers.
