Chav3468
Could the off center core be from cutting a soft core. Maybe I pushed it to the bottom of the cut? I’d be curious to see if you mark the bottom in the direction you cut and see if that is the thinner side of the second layer.

PeterHenric
I wouldn’t think so. The whole point of the golf ball is to return back to normal shape after taking a hit. They had really minor imperfections and I wasn't good enough to care at the time. Where do you get yours typically? I recently gave the TP5 a shot and like it so far. I've had mixed results getting seconds for other brands. I'm working through my stock of K-sig but once I'm done these sound like a better option. BIG STU
Kinda late to this but I will add---week before last I played in our weekly Shootout--- My regular team was split up due to 2 of the guys having guests. So basically I knew we could not win but used it per say as a test and tune on my game My fellow member had some new Kirklands he had just picked up Friday. Our 18th hole is a par 5 and was playing 3 shots anyhow. That green is notiorious for being as hard as a night in the county jail. We were about 60 yards out and we did have a ball on the green. I told my partner slip me one of those Kirklands. I took the 56* and turned the face open and launched it up. That Kirkland spun and checked up great. I was well impressed it checked as good as the Q Star I was playing. I had played 3 of the original ones when they came out. You could not find them in this area but a bud of mine in Fla sent me a sleeve. I actually picked up yardage with them and they were great off the putter and wedges.
