Somehow on the 18th hole of a downtrodden public course near Boston, I lost, dropped, or misplaced my month old Scotty putter last Sunday. I must have hit a few practice chips since it was almost dark out and forgot to grab my putter. Didn't realize it wasn't in my bag until my next round on Wednesday. Called them on Wednesday and they said no one had turned anything in. Called again over the weekend, spoke to the same guy and still nothing. At this point I figured someone had picked it up and kept it. So I looked on eBay and marketplace, specifically for my college head cover that I had on it since it is fairly cool and unique.  No luck.

Called one more time today, and the nice old gentleman on the phone asked me few questions and said yes we have it. Come pick it up as soon as possible, things have a habit of disappearing.  I was there thirty minutes later and was reunited with my putter. Not sure why it took so long to get turned in, but very appreciative that I was able to get it back!

There's a garbage can off of the 9th tee at my course, and I have found 3 broken drivers in there this last year. After I brought the third one to the clubhouse, the guy asked me why I keep bringing them up there. 😂

I keep thinking they might have a change of heart, I guess.

What a cheap way to try new drivers...… Just re-shaft them. But when you think about it I'm sure they didn't leave anything good behind.

One was an M2, it also had a new grip on it. They even threw the headcover in the trash too. 😂 It was a tough give up because they were obviously OVER IT.

Amazing how someone with a bad swing can blame the club. Once it's in the trash or thrown in the woods I would consider it a find. Even if I didn't want it I would fix it up for someone else less fortunate. Even a used M2 is still worth about $200. No matter how mad I got over a poor shot, I know it wasn't the equipment, it was the operator. Don't take it out on the equipment! Now he is looking a $500.00 replacement that still wont help his swing. Could have got a bunch of lessons for that!

It's incredible. After 5 PM the White Claws start piling up all over the place, so I usually attribute it to "drinking and driving." It was pretty hard to give that one up, but the Karmic wheel is turning my way this week, so I guess it's all for the best.

I see now. Congrats on being picked to be a tester.

Bad juju. They're in the trash can for a reason. Oh and 'White Claws'? Ugh.

One man's trash is another man's treasure.   White Claws are right there with Truly.   Yucky
