Piretti

So I just bought a Piretti Forza 2 putter last week and I am itching to try it out, except it has been crappy weather here as of late.  Very wet.  What are some of your thoughts regarding Piretti?  Just curious.

I had one in the bag for a while a few years ago. High quality putter; they switched from affordable off the rack to more limited edition types. Typically on the heavier side.

Putters look nice, but owner is too political on his company's social media. I generally don't have a problem with people who support whomever they support, but he goes out of his way to bait people on purpose, and this is on his company's page, not his personal page.

I saw that as well, I got a pretty good deal on this one and figured I would try it out.  I think the main reason why I went after this is the weight of the putter.  I tend to like heavier clubs and was hoping I could finally have a putter without the lead tape all over it.  haha

I have to say, I love the way a lot of the models look.  That being said, a lot of the models are WAAAAY out of my price range.  I'm with you, keep the politics out of golf!  haha  There is a time and place.

There is a 20% discount right now. If you look at the Piretti instagram, it has the code and it says it goes until the election. Even the discount code is about politics, shaking my head.

Love the feel of Piretti but they're getting more and more boutique since the margins are good in that market. You take an off the rack putter, stamp tour on it, triple the price. It's what all putter companies do to boost the profit margin. And hey, as long as there is demand for it, I don't blame the business owner. Oh and the demand for his 'tour' putters in Korea is off the charts. Gotta strike while the iron is hot

People get too worked up over politics. It's a political affiliation, so what?!?

I’m digging my piretti so far. I have had many scottys and the piretti has a more crisp feel to me. Beautiful putter and love the option for a sight dot instead of a line.

Really good putters. Cottonwood 2 is a classic. I could certainly game a few others.

They typically have 15% off if you join email list. No tax either.

I love the sight dot!  I have an old Scotty Studio Select with a sight dot and love it.  I wish more putters came with this option.

Did you order this from Piretti directly? I ask as I haven’t found left handed options on the website, and I’m curious. I played one during my three year experiment of putting right handed.

I had the same issue a while back.  Go to the Piretti website, click shop, then when that page loads go to the "filter" drop-down menu and you can select left handed options there.

Thanks for the info. I’m not sure I need to go down this road, but did like the feel of the putter. I’ve found a bit of a happy place by going back to putting left handed. Three putts are few and far between, but still not seeing the ball drop on mid range putts. It is more of a read issue I think. I have a bunch of putts burn the edges or flatten out at the hole. Fine tuning this is the first goal for 2021.
