Golfworks - ProSoft Vibration Dampening Shaft Inserts

If I'm taking the grips off of my classic clubs, I'm wondering if these are worth a go.

Caught some awful stingers when I played yesterday, and it's only getting colder here in VA.  Anyone tried these?

It was a very long time ago, but I thought they were a little help. They're basically the same as sensicore, maybe a little better. It wasn't enough relief for me, so I eventually went to graphite, but the inserts were cheap and easy to install.

I installed them in my 919F irons, and tested against my '76 Wilson Staff irons, makes a big difference when you catch it thin.

I use them near religiously when playing steel shafts. Consider myself very sensitive regarding feel. And I like the ProSofts better than older Sensicore. Have friends/customers that can't tell a difference. Just an area where we each differ. Many just prefer to go graphite route and eliminate one extra variable regarding club makeup.

This stuff looks like backer rod that you can get to home depot, but it does say something about proprietary foam for golf.
