I am switching my golf ball to Bridgestone E12, please advise me is there any different to the performance of the ball in different color like softness, spin and distance.

Thank you.

I wouldn't think so, but I'm not the manufacturer. I don't know what the different components of a ball cover like color could do. I would encourage you to call B'stone's customer service and ask them if color makes a difference in performance. B'stone is a high end ball company, I assume they would not sacrifice performance for color; nor would any other premium ball maker, like Titleist. Can you imagine if the Yellow Pro V1s went farther and straighter than the white ones? You might never see a white Pro V on the course again.

During the MGS ball test last year there was a comment made that there was some performance differences seen with colored golf balls as well as matte golf balls   However,  no specifics were published.    Since you are looking at the E12 which isn't a tour level ball,  I wouldn't worry about the differences.

The colored ball is softer, more spin and less distance by about 0.000000000002% which equates to about 3 inches on a 300 yard drive ~ roughly. 😜

Golf is simple - people are complicated.

There's an e12 Soft and an e12 Speed, they're not the same.

Both are soft, low spin balls. So they don't go quite as far and they don't spin as much as a tour ball.

Lots of good info here: https://pluggedingolf.com/bridgestone-e12-soft-e12-speed-golf-ball-review/

I've never heard anything about color affecting performance, but MGS reported matte balls lose significant spin when they're wet, which would be an issue if you rely on the ball checking up going into a green.
