The Lockheed C5A (and B) Galaxy was a fun ride.  It also tended to break down alot and afforded extra days off in fun places around the world.

I spent the night in the barracks at McCord AFB before my AF physical in 1969.  At 0330 hours these guys were taking off for Vietnam.  The whole building shook!!

A special thanks to my Dad, a WWII Marine vet that, as he states it, somehow survived the front line fighting on Okinawa.  While his legs and vision don't let him get out on the course any more, he's still draining them on the putting green.

Here is a video from when I got him out to play last August. 

He had a health set back this past March keeping him off the course.

Give your father a 'Semper Fi' and 'Oorah' from a grateful Marine.  My father survived the Viet Nam war as a Marine, and while he is no longer with us he would join me in saying thank you to your father.

That's awesome!  My Dad was also a WWII Marine vet.  He loved the game of golf so much and I miss him.
