Nathan, Monterey CA

Used a net for back yard practice when I had limited time after work so I could consistently get swings in.

Never used with a launch monitor with exception of in-store, but absolutely would take the opportunity to get a LM to use with it to get better value out of practice.

I used a net about 20 years ago. Its getting ready to be cold in Oklahoma this winter. I would live to hine my swing in my warm garage this season. I am eyeing a couple of different launch monitors at the moment as well as hitting mats.

Testers Wanted (4)

During these days that COVID-19 has restricted many things, one area that has thrived admist the shutdown and restricted activities this spring, were golf practice items. Yes, we're talking about practice, and so is Spornia. It's SPG-7 net has been in high demand since the spring. Oh and did we mention it finished 2nd earlier this year in the MGS Best Golf Practice Net's Buyer's Guide?

So pandemic aside, heading into winter where one of these would set up nicely and very quickly in a garage or backyard is the perfect time.  Spornia is going to let four of our readers test, review and keep a SPG-7 and report back to the community your thoughts

yes , I’ve used a hitting net years ago but got discouraged very soon after getting bcuz it was very awkward to set up!!

Did not use a LM with it cuz didn’t have one..

would be interested in testing a new net as I now have a small LM and the inside room to set up in the basement.

I would love to be a tester.  I've only periodically used a net before, e.g., at courses or a friend's home.  Coincidentally I've just ordered - not even received yet - both a launch monitor and Super Speed Golf Training system based largely on MGS articles and reviews.  So even though I live in (relatively) sunny CA a net would be a great addition right now.

Nope, TBH i've never even toy'd with the idea.  But quarantine changes you...

I'd be able to give this thing both indoor and outdoor scrutiny.  I own a Rapsodo MLM.  I've also built a sim room and use a Uneekor QED with the fitting software so I could give this an indoor assessment as well.  I'd assume the outdoor analytics is what the mass would need, though.

I new here, so not sure how this works but here's some background:

I have a driver swing speed of 95 to 105.

I shank my long irons like the best of them, so i'd be able to really test that side netting 😆

6 iron 87 mph SS, 117 ballspeed, ~5500 spin

I'm a bored dad of two, who needs some excitement.  Other than reports at work and power rankings for fantasy football, I really don't have an avenue to provide long winded, semi-useful information.  This could be a neat project.  Please don't hesitate if you have any Q's.

Best

Anthony

Haven't ever had a hitting net, but am actually in the market. So this popped up at the perfect time.

Don't have a launch monitor, but have been exploring Shot Vision on iPhone.

I bought a net in the spring when courses and driving ranges were shut down.  I used it at least once a week all season long, but would have used it more if it didn't take 15 minutes to set up.  I use it with my Swing Caddie launch monitor, and look forward to trying it in the garage over the winter.

Its now cold here in Chicago area and I will be setting up my makeshift golf net in the garage each time I want to hit some balls. This would make setup so much easier! I do not use any type of launch monitor. I am very detail oriented as I am a Risk Analyst.  I’m sure working from home this winter will take it’s toll with 2 young girls at home and I’d love to test this product as much as I can over the upcoming winter season!

Thanks!
